i got my ROTF SS out and was comparing him with DOTM megatron. and im thinking starscream is too big and i might actually have to get the deluxe SS. but i thought for a minute and realized: a jet is bigger than a semi. so, technically they are to scale. since when is a F-22 smaller than a semi??

Crappy DOTM? I own DOTM Starscream and he's quite nice. Smaller than Bumblebee but I made up for that by making his legs straighter than chicken legs. The Autobot and 'Con are the same size now.

But yes, that is kind of true. To tell you the truth, Starscream slightly towers Megatron in ROTF, and if you bend the chicken legs on him more, it's a good match.

true true. just saying, i think that ROTF ss is in better scale than DOTM ss

also, yeah, i think he is crappy because of lack of paint and size, but i have seen reviews and articulation is quite nice ^_^

Starscream is 33 feet tall, I think with his legs contracted into that chicken look.
Megatron is 38 feet tall.
So, techinically, legs extended, Starscream could be taller than Megatron.

If you want the vehicles in scale then I think you need Voyager DotM Megatron and RotF LEADER Starscream.

Scale isn't even in the Hasbro dictionary.

well reason why i dont have a leader SS is cus i was not too worried about getting it. i was happy with my voyager. now it looks like i might get one :/

You say "Crappy" Starscream when talking about DOTM Deluxe against ROTF Voyager? What?

The Deluxe is actually amazing for its size, it has good paint deco (he even has the blue on the face, unlike Leader) great articulation, no HANDS in jet-mode, a simple and good transformation, absolutely zero kibble in robot-mode, probably the best Mechtech weapon for Deluxes and he generally looks awesome with all the other figures.

Deluxe Starscream is far from crappy and he doesn't look bad with DOTM Megatron either.

im sorry if i mis judged him, and these posts have changed my view on the little guy

i might just end up getting him and BB next

but still. i love the voyager SS more than the DOTM SS. he is just too tiny! i cant get over the size

So buy some smaller figures to go with him like Scout Megatron. My movie collection is in four different scale sections.

Robot Megatron is larger then robot Starscream, is he not? So Deluxe and Voyager isn't actually that out of scale.

But same, my movie collection is split into three different scales. One group in comparison to Battle Opps Bee, one in comparison to Leader Optimus and one in comparison to Battle Blades Optimus.

The same with rotf Lockdown. It is taller than most deluxe, and the same size of voyagers

Robot Megatron is larger then robot Starscream, is he not? So Deluxe and Voyager isn't actually that out of scale.

True, but if you look at this pic you can see that perhaps the animation isn't strictly to scale.

I'm being a bit hypocritical with my display as I have the leader classes together so some characters are scaled by bot mode not alt mode. I think it's only Jetfire and Starscream that don't truly fit though.

I have all the Starscream's from all the movies and clearly i would say Leader SS is the best so far, but Deluxe seems pretty cool and ive seen reviews and such, but as much as im a SS fan, im not sure if i can buy the DOTM deluxe class SS, i feel like im getting cheated out of something, but cant put my finger on it yet. I do have Voyager Mackatron or Megatron which is the best movie version thats came out so far and Shockwave is the best voyager figure in DOTM so far and just got my second Skyhammer, 1st one was junk loose joints and stuff, but i would he would be 3rd, but Prime and Iron hide i heard their junk.
