Sorry if this isn't news but...
I was shopping for Windchargers for fellow Seibertonians and I took every WC they (wait, I mean Windcharger. That abbreviation really doesn't work) had to the counter and asked if this was their entire stock. They told me it was and that they were expecting DOTM toys in May. They didn't know what part of May but there we go: not long to wait before the first wave of shite hits the stores. I don't recall seeing this info anywhere so I thought I'd better post it for all to see.

Uh...this has been known for a while. It's been stated countless times that the DOTM toyline release date is May 16th.
Ordering of the new, and slacking off on the old is expected to start right about now, we're a little over a month from the deadline.

Ya that info was in the flyer that came with deluxe and higher rts figs. It says that dotm toys hit shelfs nation wide the week 5/16/11. I hope megs and shockwave are in the first wave of the line so i dont have to what for them any longer. they look so cool, megs as a tankor truck and shockwave just being in the movie.

That is correct. If you haven't seen them yet, buy them online. I strongly believe these won't be showing up at retail until after DOTM, that's if they even show up at all.

RTS never made much sense to me. Better to put Windcharger and the Voyager RTS in Generations. As for DOTM, there's very little I'll be buying from this line. Time to fill some gaps in my older series.

So the Generations line will continue to come out alongside DotM then? Thats a relief I guess. I have to agree that I probably won't be buying very many of the DotM figures.
I guess whats weird is that I have yet to see ANY RtS figures. I've only seen one Mindset at K-Mart and thats it. I've only recently seen Kup and Scourge at Wal-Mart and picked'em up. I'm guessing we might see some of the RtS figures somewhere down the line under a different banner. Who knows?

I hope so too, but I preordered the Wheeljack, Warpath, and Thundercracker 3-pack from BBTS just to be safe. I really didn't want to miss out on Warpath.
Might get a few figures from DOTM, but I usually end up working on my NES and SNES collection instead during TF movie lines.

Takara gets him in July, I'm assuming we do too. So, it looks like a 2-month wait for him, after the line's debut on May 16th.
