1. The so called "plane mode" reminds me of a parrot.
2. The head in bird mode looks like a praying mantis. (If the turkeys where you live look like that, dont invite me over for Thanksgiving dinner)
3. The bright red really sucks. Hopefully the hit us up with a repaint like they did Ravage. (even though after 4 ravage paint schemes they still couldnt get him right)
Bumblebee and Mudflap : Waste of plastic. Melt them all down and use the plastic to make more RTS Wreck-Gars.

still not sure about laserbeak, the face, colors transformation... they could have done so much better with a subject as inspiring as laserbeak!
as for "back to the future bumblebee" maybe if they do a silver repaint...

I'm not much of a complainer when it comes to TF designs, but man...that head is SOOOO goofy and ugly!

MINDVVIPE wrote:that is one stupid, ugly, failure of a beast mode head. If I ever get this, i'm never taking the beast mode head out. Actually, the more I see it, it seems to big to go with any rendition of Soundwave other than G1 or the Cybertron mold. I'll just leave skystalker as my Laserbeak (since his eye could be a laser too, adding to the persona of 'Laserbeak').
Agreed. If i were to ever own this (doubtfull) i'd simply keep that abomination of a head tucked in and keep the jet mode head out instead.
Although i like the wings a lot in bird mode. WHy they would make those wings so "fast" looking and the head so STUPID and SLOW looking is beyond me. His lower extremities are fat and plodding looking too.
I think if you keep jet mode head out and tuck the legs up like they are in jet mode you would get more of the proper bird of prey aesthetic he's supposed to have.
As it stands now.......he's SHITE! How they could have botched up Laserbeak this badly is ridiculous.
Maybe it's just a baby bird proto Laserbeak and somewhere down the line he turns into awsomeness like a phoenix. Sort of what we saw in the trailer. Maybe we;ll get another Laserbeak down the line that actually doesn't suck balls and is bad ass. Just an idea....i HIGHLY doubt that is the case.

Hah. it really is the best part, I would take that combined gun and put it on a bigger TF so quick, I'd probably forget a figure was included.

Mudflap looks all right, nothing impressive though, at least he has knees unlike skids.
Nitro has a really cool looking alt mode, and his robot mode looks great. I really love how they used a different leg conversion and not just a slight change from the original movie Bumblebbe. Too bad about the arms though. If only it was Nitros legs and torso, with the new Bumblebees arms.
