Got my Highdive today. Same size as the last, same absolutely stunning bot mode. A lot of the cons were similar, though I had FAR fewer problems with the hands.

I did have a very small, inconsequential decorative part break, and several of the wing flaps popped off during transformation but were easily reattached. Again, very complicated change.

The biggest issue in this figure is the panelforming for the alt-mode. The alt mode is actually a good chunk larger than figure 1. WHile the "Harrier" was more compact and solid, the F-16 is wide and thin, and as a result several of the top panels fit VERY tightly...so much so it is difficult to keep them from popping out of place. With the wings, the same thing is an issue...they are very thin and getting the panels aligned to "lock" in place is a true challenge.

Of the two, this is the most disappointing as the F-16 mode was one I was really looking forward to. It still looks pretty good. The plane has the same semi-reflective gunmetal grey/silver with reflective metallic highlights.

One little odd quirk: the instruction manual actually has the name Slingshoot on it but it is Highdive's direction book.

I was hearing that this one was more fiddily than slingshoot, but looks better to me. Still waiting on chosen prime to actually get him in stock. Glad to hear the hands are better on this one too, those hands are the thing I really dislike about slingshoot.

Now, where are the preorders for Silverbolt? And should they only stop at 3, given how slow news is with this set, I hope there are still Slingshoots and Highdives around so I can complete the limbs at least.

I got my Skydive in last night, and i have to say, his robot mode is far better than Slingshot. They definitely improved the robot mode QC. I have not attempted the transformation yet, which is what I hear is the really difficult part. I will try it today. But i like him a lot so far, much better than Slingshot. Gives me more hope for the team going forward.

Now, where is the Preorder from Silverbolt, and where are the last 2?

Skydive cuts such an impressive look. He is so much better than Slingshot. I hope the other 3 members are as good as he is.

I have to say...of the two, the F-16 is the sicker alt mode. It may be more annoying to transform, but it's truly a sweet plane.

I'm surprised, I find Slingshot much more fiddly to transform. His fingers just falling off don't help at all either. He is annoying, Skydive is a lot of fun.

The latest member of this team is up for preorder on TFSource. Looking like July shipping. "Silverbolt" is pretty sick looking. They also have pictures up of the final combined form of the figures and he looks abso-freaking-lutely amazing!

I don't think they've posted anything on their FB page in a while either; makes me wonder if we are going to get the full set....that would seriously suck.

It definitely would, especially since you can't really use the current arm and leg to complete the combiner either

Yeah, I was shocked by that one too. I thought this guy and Raiden would finish around the same time, but I guess it's going to take a little longer than that
