Why the sudden change of heart?

The toy in it's final colors was what changed my heart on buying this toy.

Decided to buy both TW Evila Star and DX9 Chigurh.

Whoa, that's hardcore. Would love to see some comparison shot between them when they're out!

I only buy a handful of Transformers toys a year. So I can afford to double dip on a character I like.

I for one am really diggin' this guy and can't wait to get him. I like the bot mode, mainly due to his upper torso and arms being more toon accurate. The legs are not toon accurate but I don't think they are not hideous.

I think the train mode is a nice update, instead of the more classic looking steam loco it's got a more art deco look similar to some of the streamline locos of the early twenties...which did not have the large pronounced funnels.



The shuttle mode is a little squat but seeing as how the real ones are now in mothball or scrapped...I am ok with a little artistic license on that mode.

I like that he will be nice and tall and the color scheme is more toon accurate as well.

BBTS has pushed back the release date for this toy till April. Speculating the CNY played a role is this push back delay.

Saw newer final colors pics for DX9 Chigurh. that show the front train windows colored Orange insteal of neon Yellow. Also noticed the some of the yellow details on the wings are now grey. noticed the red band around the black windows on the back of the train are gone.
