hilarious? i don't see how an animation color accurate prime is hilarious.. but okay. i'd personally prefer this version over the henkei version.

Although it's pretty odd to have show accurate colours on a mold that's vastly different from the actual cartoon model. If it'S not too expensive to get I might get it for my Classics Prime collection.
you are absolutely right. i've said this quite a few times.. they never give prime his proper white waist/thighs.
i'd kill for an MP prime with this scheme.. this scheme would make that mold completely perfect.. maybe one day they'll do it.. make his waist and thighs white, get rid of the silver stripes in truck mode.. i'd be all over it.

It's not all that horrible in a vacuum. Not awesome, and a bit cartoon-y, but not at all horrible.
But taken in juxtaposition with the promo art, and, well... I can see where there's much to be desired.

Me too, It would rock to have MP 10 in cartoon colours!
Man I just realized, the Bludgeon mold has never had a decent head (not counting the HEadrobots one), they all look crap and bloated.
The original Bludgeon head is bloated and horribe, the Overlord head is crap and this one here too.

While that Optimus looks nice, I just think it has been redecoed too often. I think we should just get a new Prime (by new, I mean DESIGN new, not REDECO new), like a Voyager based on his appearance in Ongoing (from IDW), even if it it may not be as popular as Toyworld's Orion. Anyone with me (though I will admit, this is a cool repaint that looks more cartoon accurate)?
Megatron does look AWESOME with that paintjob, it's just the clown face that is the weakest point. Maybe it is just the toy fitting Bludgeon more than Megatron that makes me not like the bot mode, because why would Megatron be a samurai??? Like Prime, I think Megs should get a Voyager based figure, based on his design in "Chaos Theory, Part 1".

Japanese fans would at least want Megatron since they never got the GDO Megatron remold of ROTF Bludgeon.Flux Convoy wrote:Why should anyone care about these?

They did get the mold as Megastorm (which you point out later, defeating your argument).Flux Convoy wrote:They never got G2 either.
Why would they want a silver G1-decoed tank Megatron to use as the mostly green Megastorm?Flux Convoy wrote:I stand by my previous question. Unless they are wanting it for the BWII Megastorm nod.
Shoud we? Are we the intended audience for this, or is it the Japanese fandom?Flux Convoy wrote:However, I should have been more clear. Why should any of us care?
As for why we're being told about this at all if we're not the intended audience, it's because this is a Transformers news site and any TF news is fair game to be posted. Same reason we get news stories about a MLP comic featuring Optimus Prime on the cover.

Was you final paragraph truly necessary? The know it all attitude is a bit condescending.

That's why I asked him if why we should care if we're not the intended audience but no answer was given to me from him. I mean, who here has said that we are supposed to care about these?Dead Metal wrote:Sabre, flux is right. Nobody should care about this.
But, at the same time, things we don't care about get posted here all the time, and likely will continue to be so simply because it's TF news and everything is fair game here.

Optimus is optimus. Not bad mold and I actually don't even have that Classics version. I have ultra magnus and nemesis (legit one).
