E-Hobby is running a contest purchase the Wonderfest 2008 Exclusive Movie Arcee (G1 Repaint) by lottery, meaning there is no guarantee that every order will receive a figure. All entries must be in between March 3rd and March 7th, only one figure per order.

I like this redeco, but I'm bot gonna spend an arm and a leg to have a chance to get a figure that I already have 2 of and think is nice, but not worth that much of an extra mile.

Apparently not anymore. They stopped selling to anyone outside Japan this year.

I keep convincing myself that I do not need that repaint. I have other figures I prefer, but the old 'pay now, or pay more later' keeps popping up in my head. :-(

I also had the pay now or pay MORE later syndrome.. I really like this one, so pre-ordered from BBTS. Glad I didn't hesitate for too long... after I placed my order, it was sold-out!.

Why bother...it looks horrible. If they are going to do a G1 Arcee, might as well throw her in the Classics/Universe line and do her some justice. The original paint job is okay, the black one is awesome, but this G1 repaint is just fugly.

I'd much rather have an Arcee be released in the Classics/Universe line any day. If they can't do that then I'll have to settle for the Energon Minicon Arcee instead, but the movie version is hideous.

I really like this mold, I just hate the face.

Though I think the wonderfest paint job does the best at working with that face.

But for the dollars people are looking for for that fig, I just can't do it. She's not worth *more* than an MP to me.

The G1 repaint is nice and all, but since she's now become a peg-warmer in this area I can't see spending the money on her.

I don't think she'll be worth half of what she is going for now, in say 5 years. If a figure becomes *too* exclusive, it almost decreases their value.
