OMG! OMG! OMG! - Profiles for Ratchet, Ironhide, Scorpinok & Bumblebee are on the Takara G1 site along side the current four Encore characters.

And now that Ratchet & Ironhide are confirmed?! ...We surely must be getting a Scorpinok reissue, right?(and hopefully a E-hobby Black Zarak version too)

Anyway, couldn't decide on whether I like Ratchet or Ironhide better so I pre ordered both.

I just wish more Decepticons would get reissued as my G1 shelves are very lopsided - When are they gonna do Cyclonus, Scourge, Slugslinger & Triggerhappy God damn it!

As for the Encore line, well at first I just felt it was more of the same old, but Ratchet(who I never had) and IronHide(whos missing all his parts) seem very nice, and affordable, so, alright for this round!

Wait, a base may finaly be getting a reissue. I had Scorponok but lost him to ignorance years ago! He and Grandus are the only Bases that I'm missing(repaints aside) excluding the MicroMaster sets.

It's really cool that Ratchet and Ironhide are coming out. The only other G1 Autobot car I need is Trailbreaker, and I actually prefer reissues as they'll be in decent shape from day 1. Sometimes you buy stuff on e-bay that claims to be great and it's not.

I quote myself from a long time ago when I said " I think Takara should reissue Ironhide and Ratchet b/c they are movie characters ". I would most certainly expect Jazz not too far from now, and maybe Scorponok is a possibility.

i'm amazed at the response to the ironhide/ratchet announcment. both of those toys sucked then and they suck now. terrible, terrible toys. this is looking sucky. but i could use the break from buying **** so

Scoroponok and Trypticon would be awesome. I'd also like to see the Target and Headmasters reissued as those are very hard to find MLC.

Since I have minimal interest in the upcoming animated lines, I will be throwing all my TF funds into supporting any and all resisues from ehobby and Takara in the encore line in the hopes that this time the line runs longer and is more successful than the last reissue line.

Same here. Put the Encore label on anything G1, and I will pre-order it as soon as BBTS gets it on their site.

Hmm, interesting news about the Encores. I don't think I'm personally interested in Ratchet or Ironhide myself, but it bodes well for the future of the line.
