I just got my E-hobby G1 Megatron in today, and I want to know how to take the orange tip out. Does anyone else own this and have a solution for me?

It all depends on how much glue they used to secure the orange tip. On mine all it took was to use a pliers on the orange tip and twist slightly. I had to do the same thing with MP-05.

Don't rush it though, you may end up breaking it if you are a little too forceful.

My MP-05 wasn't even glued in. I was able to pull it out by hand. Whatever they used for this stob, however, is made of some kind of Styrofoam or something. It's really soft, and ,from trying to twist it by hand, it feels like its really glued in there this time around.......

i dont have one so my advice might be useless, but perhaps putting the tip in hot water to loosen it up and expand the cap plastic before trying to pry it would help?

You could always use the old hairdryer trick. Blow the hot air on it for 30 seconds on each side to melt the glue a little. Then use pliers to pull it out.

This also worked beautifully on Leader Ironhide's head.

I almost messed up, but I got it out. I , at first, started bring out the hair dryer to see if it would melt the glue. But then I thought about just trying to use the pliers. The stob started falling to pieces. It looks more like some kind of wood, than Styrofoam. I did manages to twist it on out of there before it could completely break apart (whew!). Thanks for the help.... :KREMZEEK:
