e-Hobby has just released two of their popular G1 exclusives: Sunstorm & Megatron Black version. Both of these figures were originally issued several years ago. So if you missed out on them the first time around, here is your chance to snag them. The figures are packaged in their original e-Hobby exclusive boxes. The colors are awesome and much nicer than I expected, and the red bullets are devilish. I wish I had ordered two.

I may have to pick up another Sunstorm (I got one on the original release).

But I'm definately getting Megatron.

Bit of a pooper they aren't releaseing Black Starscream or a G1 Acid Storm, though. :-(

I think this might be Megatron's first Black Body.

I wonder if the manga stories take place within the G1 cartoon continuity, or if they're a whole new thing like the Henkei! Henkei! mangas were.

I really wanted to get Megs but I'm a MISB Collector and BigBadToyStore claims that their Megatrons will be opened and have a significant sized Orange plug added which will involve cutting the plastic bubble to fit.... No Workie 4 Me

It'll probably be a similar case for other retailers as well. So your choices may be narrowed down to purchasing a Black Megs w/ an orange plug, or not purchasing him at all.

Yeah... I've already decided against purchasing Megs. I cancelled my pre-order. I guess just cause I want every Transformer in the world doesn't mean I have to have them all :grin:

It's ok though, I'm getting 2 MP Grimlocks so I can open one and the money will go towards that.

What is taking BBTS so long to get these?! I get excited when this thread comes up and it takes BBTS this long to get the product not to mention process and ship them. It's irritating!

Has anyone had any experience with RK? Good or Bad? I know Sunstorm's $10 cheaper on Robot Kingdom and they already have these in stock. I don't know what's going on with BBTS but it's just retarded. It's been a week since these were released. Am I just being too anxious?

I bet BBTS gets theirs real soon. In my experience over the years with BBTS, they typically get their more popular items listed as "in stock" on the last Monday of each month. I dunno if thats done on purpose or just a fluke. They probably have theirs in and are just sorting out Collectors Grade, Standard, & Sub-standard right now. I'm willing to bet Sunstorm will be instock between now and Monday evening.

Yes it is Megatron in his Black Body, not Megaplex, who was dark gray.

Alright. I've got Megaplex, but I've never opened him so I'm not exactly sure what he looks like.
