Correct. Any version of Megatron that transformers into a gun and is unmodified.

Takara TFC #06 is on the list of canceled auctions unless it has an orange plug.

I bought my modded Megs from TFsource, pulled the plug, and now have my happily unmodded Megs beating up Prime. From what I hear plenty of people have done the same with thier BBTS modded Megs, though that one takes a lot more effort to remove.

Particularly when you consider that THIS transforming gun is oversized to the degree of silliness.

Or if they did open every box, remove the plugs and reseal the figures just to keep their promise, they did it well. Either way, when the figure reached my doorstep, it was orange plug free.

Yep, and I got my Megs, and he looks so cool and shiny. I open every TF I buy actually. I even opened my MISB Overlord so I could play with him. Not even sure where the box is anymore. To me they are to display and play with. Otherwise whats the point in having them. A sealed box might as well be an empty box to me.

Tell me though, when you see other TF items listed on eBay, with opened packaging, are they being sold for full price?
I take my toys out of the package too, but I'm the one doing it.

I'm sure that us Brits are going to be hit with similar measures
In some ways I can see the concern of TFC 06 Megatron as he's packaged in alt mode. However Megatron is packaged as his robot mode - which I thought was a deliberate measure to avoid difficulties in transporting the figure.
This is crazy. An X-ray of the box for either MP or TFC Megatron will reveal that it's nothing more than a replica weapon.

Hopefully megatron won't get shafted anymore. It does make me feel glad I got him when I did

BB Guns, Replicas, Blank Guns and Imitation Guns
Prohibited
BB guns, air guns, black powder guns or muzzle-loader guns
Listings that use the term “BB gun” in the item title or description of any listing for an airsoft or replica gun.
Permitted
Paintball guns, "airsoft" guns*, pellet guns, replica, "look-alike," and imitation firearms under certain circumstances. These items:
Must have clear markings permanently affixed to them (commonly blaze orange markings on the barrel or a blaze orange plug inserted into the barrel)
Must not be readily convertible to shoot a lethal projectile
Must be located in the U.S. and the seller must be located in the U.S.
These rules apply to all items designed to look like firearms, including replicas/imitation guns of any age, as well as toy and cap guns.
Note: Most states require that purchasers of airsoft guns be 18 years of age or older.
