I can see a photo contest topic here. "Photograph your TFs doing something with the orange plug." Many wouldn't be able to participate, myself included because I got an unmodded Megatron, but the resulting photos could be worth a laugh.
On another note, I find it silly that you can buy this or this on eBay yet you can't buy a toy Megatron.

If you had a pair, you could turn them into cufflinks or earings.

Either try TFZone or Timban. Or perhaps go straight to a store like Xybertoys?

tentagil wrote:As for the people standing up and petitioning this law. In alot of states the law is actually more restrictive in that a toy gun can't even be colored like a real gun (Which is why Megs is the colors he is). And in most cases those laws are the result of parent groups petitioning for it.
Its not like one little incident led to this law going up to congress. If you research it there was alot of public backing on it from parent groups and the like. I think its a stupid law myself. But it exists because the people of this country wanted it. Of course I suppose that something about the average intelligence level of our citizens.

Based on what I have heard from those that did purchase their modded MP Megs through BBTS, the plug can be removed. Several people have commented that it was easier to remove after heating up the barrel with a blow dryer.

fenrir72 wrote:Thanks for the correction Swerve, clip, cartridge or high capacity clips ammos etc. But to tell you the truth, does it make a difference? All the legislating nonsense and some smart @ss wacko can find the means to get around it.

As a result, our Megs and Shockwave can't be sold (over the counter in the US anyway) and now Ebay..........especially TFC re-issues. The paranoia has come to a point that a kindergarten schooler got slapped with a suspension for waving a toy gun at his teach ( pre- VT) and a psycho mom (post VT) waving a toy gun at some school kids.

I agree with you, but then America would have to work instead of get rich quick and that really ruins our chances of being the fattest, laziest nation ever. The new America is built on the back of someone else's hard work, and more than likely they were willing to do it for less money.
