Cullen sure as hell isn't a Vampire, but he's still the Immortal Undead. Meanwhile, Gene Simmons is an aging former rock star. I'm going with the not-Vampire-but-still-immortal-undead-superhuman on this one.

As I said, not Vampires. Wooden stakes don't kill them. In fact, they have none of the weaknesses of Vampires, which pisses me off to no end, (You have to be dhampir to get that!) but also means they're significantly harder to kill by mortals, i.e. Gene Simmons.
Furthermore, you're "synopsis" is pretty much assuming Cullen stands still and doesn't defend himself.

Cullen being emo as he is probably rocked out hard-core to Simmons during the 80's and 90's.
Cullen would worship Simmons as a god and allow Simmons to behead Cullen.
