Still haven't played Redguard or Battlespire. That said, despite not being huge on MMOs, I'm still stoked for this. And if it plays more like Elder Scrolls than an MMO, then consider my time and money yours, Bethesda.

They say it will play in the 3rd person, and that it will have alot of the typical MMO traits. I'm guessing it will be unique still, but probably not to far off of what is expected from a MMORPG.

Well, "typical MMO traits" is a pretty vague term., The three MMOs I put any effort into (TOR, STO, and DCUO) all had a lot of traits in common but all played very differently. TOR was a self-admitted WoW clone, STO is a third-person shooter and space combat game, and DCUO plays more like a typical single-player action game.

It's barely been an hour since I saw the trailer and I'm already disappointed. I didn't expect Bethesda to drop the ball like this.

But that's what makes it so bad. People want an Elder Scrolls MMO, not a WoW clone that kind of looks like Elder Scrolls. Because the storytelling, quite frankly, blows. Yes, the game has amazing backstory and lore, but the stories themselves aren't exactly quality. But the games are amazingly fun and look so beautiful that we're all willing to look past it. Taking that away doesn't leave you with a whole lot.
