I have contacted the store which i got mine from, and they said Takara would be sending them Mixmaster heads.

Yes, buy him!!! For a G1, he's a great looking brick.Besides, he probably won't be getting another reissue for at least the next 5 years, so buy now, regret later.

If you are buying it in-stores, its better to check. I went to the store aware of the problem, but the owner did not allow me to open the sets, but he promised a head if it's missing. So i guess the heads should be coming in by December.

I havent tried, but i seems like there is a slot where the head is supposed to fit into the chest. Should be as simple as unscrewing the chest, inserting the head, and screwing it back.
