I believe he's wanting to replace Onslaught/Barricade's head not Bruticus's. I'm kind of surprised FansProject didn't go make a new more G1ish head for Onslaught/Barricade.
If you got it to work, you should post some pics. I would be interested in doing something like that if it looks good.

Ahh, you may be right. Either way, the FP sets are awesome. And with all the accessories included a new head for Onlsaught is hardly necessary. Its not like you are going to see much of their individual modes anyway.

I've only ever had success removing a riveted head by completely destroying it. Only try it if you have a spare or two.
