I am perplexed as to why Blades is in there. I get Ratbat, Soundwave & Starscream obviously, but Blades just confuses me. Whatever, I can't wait for this.
He was in the UK comics, you can clearly see his face and chest there:

And again, why no girl bots, that's kinda weird?
Leonardo wrote:Nice picture. While I'm sure it's intended to be melancholy or sorrow, I see a menace in Optimus' eyes that suggest to me he has murdered Sentinel and is stealing the Matrix for himself. I am now cautious of the cab-breasted one.

Oh, you know how some people think. Some fans, especially the original G1-ners, got upset seeing girls showing up in their once 'sacred series'.
Or
The are the ones who'd go, "Girls?! EWWWWW, COOTIES!"
Here's a cute girl bot to look at. http://www.seibertron.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2413&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0&sid=
Hope ya like my own girlbot...or I should say girl :MAX:.

Only if survival of said race depends on male/female interaction for reproduction!
Seriously, who are we to say what's natural? There are plenty of asexual organisms in our world, and [I believe] we're only a small percentage of the universe.
Besides, why would a race of robots need males and females?
Furthermore, I was under the impression that life on Cybertron wasn't even created by the Cybertronians, but rather by the Matrix/Allspark/Vector Sigma.

FINAALLYYY!!!!!! I mean most of here know the different interpretations of Optimus's original but I've yet seen annyyone come up with Megatron'sRaymond T. wrote:Eric Holmes, writer of the upcoming Megatron Origins comics, sat down with CBR for an interview about how this comicbook came to be.
"The book is all about the origins of the war, the Decepticons and my favorite Transformer of all - Megatron. The project came about because as long as this war has been going on, I had never seen a definitive origin that gave a reason for things to end up the way they are in regular continuity.

Sorry to to drag the tangent further... I seem to be a bit of an oddity in that I'm primarily a G1 fanboy who actually likes having fembots in the mythos. And I don't just mean the ubiquitous fem-seekers either.
I've never had a problem rationalising it as 'feminine' personalities within the race - and those who are 'feminine' in that way tend to also have physical stylings that we recognise as 'feminine' - without needing to attach considerations of gender to the issue. I'm a die-hard opponent of the projection of biological familial relationships onto the Transformers concept - a particular preserve of Mary-Sue fanfics written by female fans, for some reason - as far as I'm concerned, giant robots don't have gender, don't reproduce sexually and don't have sex for fun either. But there's a world of difference between having two X chromosomes and being feminine.

To be fair, a lot of the ones that don't fall into either category just look weird or bestial.

Weird? Or alien?
A lot of them are bestial, granted.

Good point. They look unusual because they are alien or they are Omega Supreme.

Good point. They look unusual because they are alien or they are Omega Supreme, had Omega Supreme not had a bipedal humanoid robot form.
