I like drawing. I do it quite a lot, as it happens. However, I haven't posted very many of my doodles here, so I thought I'd change that and start a dedicated art thread here.
So let's get started!
This is one of my earlier drawings that isn't crap- Lyzack, now with a body! (this was long before DJW posted his full-body drawing)
Another slightly earlier one, Megatron as a helicopter. Transformation inspired by DOTM Skyhammer somewhat.
Moonheart (or as I call her "Pulsewave") from the Megatronia boxset, complete with attempt at hatching.
Speaking of Megatronia, me and some friends came up with the idea of "Sexpistol", a Legends-class companion for her that acts as a targetmaster for combined mode. There is absolutely no way on God's green earth this thing can transform but she's cute. The name is of course a pun on British punk rock group the Sex Pistols (who I don't really listen to but the name seemed funny) and it gives the team a sixth member. Not sure what colour she'd be though, maybe black with neon aqua to tie in with her teammates?
An attempt at some (in retrospect profoundly dodgy) colour work, this is Hexbomb, Decepticon witch who transforms into an F-101 Voodoo. You get it? Because she's a witch? And she turns into a Voodoo?...I'll get my coat.
And finally, there was a drawing I started ages ago that never progressed past thick lineart and flat colours- Wreckloose (the green one) and Oilpan (the orange one).
However, whilst the actual art is a bit meh I was very taken with the concepts I came up with, so I decided to revisit them and am currently working on a remake of this image. This is it so far:
More to come as I draw it! Most of which will probably be totally unworkable-as-toys fembots with loud colours.
