Turned 30 on Jan 2. Generation One to the core! And as for Machine Man, I've written 2 treatments and one script that Marvel never showed interest in. 2nd treatment included a less tech, more teen centric focus and included Deathlok. Very Styx "Mr Roboto" meets FLCL.

Still, Arcee is a must buy!

I'm old - I was at the tail end of the target audience for G1 when it came out. And I remember Machine Man too - never liked him that much, though, mainly because the character design for when he wasn't stretching his limbs just looked too human from my point of view - not enough metal, techy parts and too much magenta / pink and stuff...

As for Arcee, AWESOME! Now if someone would make a shorter neck and smaller head to mod her into a Classics Arcee, it'd be perfect!
