Played a lot of the campaign last night. This game is amazing. 80s Optimus and the Megatron gun are great. Megatron even uses the old laser blast sound effect. I'm so glad I preordered this. I tried getting into a multiplayer match, but kept getting errors loading. Maybe tonight.

I haven't picked it up but will this weekend...a couple of questions though...

did they fix the resolution on the ps3 version? the demo was quite fuzzy for me.

AND

Did they adjust the autobot color schemes in multiplayer? we didn't have red/blue before...just curious.

It seemed clear to me. I think I remember the fuziness of the demo you speak of. I only played the Vortex mission and multiplayer, but I didn't notice it or got used to it in MP.

The colors are still wonky. They need to just let us choose the two colors we want. Their preselected colors are odd. I had to use Decepticon colors to get the correct Optimus Prime coloring. I can already see several things that need to be patched, but nothing that makes the game less fun. It's all just odd stuff here and there.

The Optimus body is available in Multiplayer as body parts in the customizer (for extra points, use Red/Blue for Autobot and Purple/Darker Purple for Decepticon).

The weapons can be acessed through the Teletran store in the Campaign.

The G1 OP can be used during the OP missions, but you have to switch characters at the level select screen. There's no way to turn it on or off at will. You'll have to start the mission over if you're already into it to play as 80 Prime.

His parts are available in multiplayer, too. I got my Destroyer up to lvl 6 before switching up some body part. I kept the torso G1, though. Looks awesome.

The guns are not available in MP. Hopefully they will be when the paid DLC comes out. It's a travesty to not be able to use the Megatron gun with it's awesom 80s sound effects in MP. For SP, though, find a Teletran store and switch to those guns. One is normal. The other is heavy. They're located at the end of the list. Nothing can be upgraded, though. I think the Megatron gun should at least be able to have a scope added. It already HAS one anyways.

If yours is like mine, expect some freezes once you start using the G1 pack. No idea why, but I didn't have issues until I installed that pack.

Yeah--I've had about three freeze-ups since I installed the pack. I'm about halfway through campaign--gonna make myself wait on MP until I get all the way through it.

I thought about doing that, but I went ahead and jumped in last night. It took almost nothing to go from lvl1 to lvl 5. I think it might've been just one or two games. I didn't think I did that well. I'm not so miffed about the demo progression not transferring over now. I'm almost back to the same levels in one night.

I have a headset but I've been playing a LOT of Mass Effect 3 single and multiplayer, so I might be in a match there if you message me. I'd be open to setting up a date and time to run though. I'm EST and am usually available after 2:30 PM until about 9 PM weekdays and anything goes on the weekends.
