I wonder why I've not been contacted by TFSource? I've had both Munitioner and Explorer pre-ordered from them since 3 February 2010 and I've not gotten an e-mail update from them. I checked and double-checked and both items are still showing pre-ordered with them, so my pre-order order hasn't been lost. Had you contacted TFSource prior to them contacting you with the e-mail update? If so, perhaps that's why they sent you an update e-mail.

Hmm, I shall wait for bbts to get theirs in.

Well, since TFSource has gotten rid of the discount if you buy both, I caved and went ahead and ordered my second set from ToyArena.com. That way, I'll get one this week and should have another set here for me when I get back from my next business trip. Really looking forward to displaying these both as the gestalt and separately. If they're a good as they look, they'll probably share my vote for TFotY.

Yeah I preordered them a few weeks ago and I put in for a "Pay Later" preorder since i didnt have the funds but wanted to make sure I would get them. I asked if they could charge me now for them since I now have the money for both of them. After I asked that I asked when do they expect to have them in.

Kicking myself for not picking the WM set up for next to nothing when it was on clearance. Have the feeling I'll pay dearly for that mistake.

Guess it's never too early to start appealing to my fellow collectors to try and find some with an extra set they'd sell.

Same boat...thought the set looked like crap and I was actually more selective back then. Selfishly, I'm hoping CF03 isn't for Dev or it's at least not as amazing as the Bruticus set. Either way, might be better off using the wad of cash it would take to get both a Classics Dev set and CF03 and just putting it toward the TFclub set.

Okay I'm working from memory here, but hasn't FansProject stated they would not be doing an upgrade set for Devestator because another 3rd party had that covered? If that was the case they must have been referring to the upcoming TFclub Devy.

CrazyDevy has my initial though as well prior to seeing what TFClub was up to.

With their own scratch built figures coming out so well..I have afeeling that CF03 will be their own scratch built combiner..The Devastator classic set is stupid ridiculosly priced right now and if they did use it , it would be next to impossible to get one..last check on ebay they were avg$200..Eff that noise...I'd rather spend that on a total custom combiner set...

To me it looks like "if" they decided to attempt to upgrade the Classics Devy properly they could only keep one of the original limbs with everything else being brand new molds. They could keep one of the front-end loader to be Scrapper and that's about it.

I wonder if this third Crossfire would be a new version of the Commander Armor or a Power Master version?

I see BBTS still hasn't gotten theirs in. Now I'm really glad I cancelled.

I hope this is an all original set.

A good point, although I was talking more... how do I put this?

Superion and Bruticus, compared to Devastator, were 'easy' to upgrade by FP. And I mean easy in the sense that their G1 versions are also scramble-city combiners. Energon Devastator is also scramble city... where G1 is quite obviously not.

Now, could FP do an upgrade like they did with Superion and Bruticus? Absolutely, but IMHO, it'd be next to impossible to do anything with the mold to make it like G1 Devastator. Far too different.

I could be wrong, mind you... but I don't think so.

Yeah...I'm not exactly a happy camper about this lack of info from BBTS. Just says August. Nothing more, nothing less.

TFSource is getting theirs this weekend, Toy Arena already shipped out their first batch, and their second is coming this weekend.

BBTS? Nothing. Nada. It's just gonna show up when we least expect it. Long after we've gotten tired of waiting.

Problem is, if I buy 'em elsewhere, it's gonna cost me a ton in shipping, so I'm kinda stuck. =\

I'm sticking with bbts as well. Better the known than unknown.

Yeah that's what usually happens with BBTS. They seem to always get their shipments last. I still use them a lot because of the pile of loot and the fact that they don't charge you until it is ready to ship though. But I don't expect to get my stuff before others.

Crossfire sets have cleared customs and are en route to our warehouse, due to be received this week. Orders will start being processed starting Saturday! Any emails asking for an exact date when their set will ship out will not be answered as this slows down the whole process for everyone.
