has anyone ventured to ebay trying to find him? 300 minimum so far.
im going to be watching ebay, chimung, and ages3andup like a hawk.

A3AU, had the diaclone columpio when it was first released. he must have been really limited though. and chimung recently added diaclone columpio as well ($189.90). so its not out of the realm of possibility for this blue slag to appear for non gut wrenching prices.

I'm sure someone will have it for order soon. Probably even A3U's site. So far no word, but now I really can't afford it unless I kill my other pre-orders for this month.

I didn't necessarily want to double dip, but I like the shiny paint apps and exclusive mini-figs. This is close to an impulse buy for me except I'd been debating about these FP exclusives a lot. I think there's a chance I can get them all for a relatively decent price once they have all been released.

But I do think it's worth it to splurge for products by select companies, FP being one of them.

The blue slag killed any interest left in the chrome versions. If im gonna double dip on a mold it would be for the inevitable G2 repaints.

Just got hold of Columpio and I'm very happy with him. Robot mode is good, a little fiddly when it comes to posing the legs and the weapons don't fit too well, but with a bit of patience you can get him in some nice poses. The Dino mode, however, is brilliant. I'm absolutely loving it. He hasn't got any of the QC issues I've seen mentioned in this thread either, which is great.

I was incredibly tempted by Toyworld's line up as Snarl looks amazing, particularly in bot mode, but I had a last second change of heart. I really like the look of their combiner, he looks suitably beastly, but ultimately it's a gimmick that I'm not going to utilise often as I'll have the 5 Dinobots posed either in robot or alt modes, depending my mood. I do like the G1 look of TW's versions with the very shiny gold chrome, but I don't feel that it's going to suit what I'm after. Also, their Sludge really didn't push my buttons, much prefer FP's.

I'm liking the look of FP's Slag, only disappointment is that I'd have preferred a red head. Swoop also looks great, I don't have a problem with his waist being small, I just hope there's an option to get him in blue. Otherwise, happy with what FP are doing so far and I hope Grimlock and Snarl come out looking good too. Grimlock's going to be a biggie for me as I have my issues with the FoC version in Dino mode. I may even complete the set at get the 6th one, depending on how he turns out.

so. ive had multiple chances to get a diaclone cubrar (for like 300 bucks) and have passed. i cant help but think, as soon as i buy one, theyll pop up in our well known webstores. columpio has been out for a while now, and in the past month or so the diaclone version has popped up in at least 3 stores.

it goes against my nature, but im going to be patient. im crossing my fingers Dcubrar turns up somewhere other than ebay.

I passed on shiny columpio 3 times now for 160. But for some reason i really want a blue slag. I would never pay 300 for it thought. Deff will get it for like 160

I kinda want the Diaclone versions too, for one thing because the little Diaclone dudes are a bit better looking than the weapon Minicons, and for another because DELICIOUS SHINY CHROME. Show accuracy be damned, I want my shininess!

(Also I have to say, Slag looks good in blue...)

The only Diaclone FP Dinobot I will be buying is the blue swoop unless FP does the right thing and gives you a choice of red or blue with the retail versions. I love the chrome, but it isn't worth double dipping. I'm confident the molds will be milked with G2 repaints and then I will double dip. Also Diaclone Slag has a blue tail that looks horrible. Why ? I doubt the vintage Diaclone Slag had a blue tail...

its entirely possible, since diaclone columpio is everywhere now. personally, if its not the 300+ aftermarket price, im happy
