Crap, I really like Warcry & Flameblast.

I was just going to pick them up to use as recolored limbs for Bruticus because I love displaying Explorer & Munitioner on the Classics shelf as individual bots (they have so much character). But I'm loving the remolded details & color schemes in bot mode & may need to display them that way. Still hoping that their connection ports are simply capped off with a removable piece though, because there is no way I'm getting a 3rd set of this mold to be the combiner limbs!

FP could do a repaint on a dog turd and i would buy it. They have their own shelf in my collection and it looks like their about to get 2..

I'm not sure if FP could even make the classic devy look good unless they do all of their own figures..That set is pretty jacked up..

I was leaning more towards Shuttle Gunner/Mover (himself/themselves redecos of G1 Blast Off). Either way, something tells me few are going use these names instead. It's interesting Fansproject is using "real" names in the CA line. Their MO has been using designations until now. If these guys are fully independant, it helps lend them identities before we even see the kick-ass comic (what? there's always a kick-ass comic). If not, then it's even more interesting CA-01 & 02 are getting better names.

I missed the crossfire2 set, so I dont know if I can pass up on those two unless I see pics of crossfire3 or get a re-release of crossifre2. I will have to get these two.

Same here. There's just too much wrong with the set period, let alone to try and make it into a 'true' Classics Devastator.

My bank account is crying, and there aren't even preorders up yet.

They look gorgeous, and I want every last one of them. Anyone else thinking that FansProject is starting to hit their stride in production? To have all of this new stuff coming out so soon and so quickly, yet still look like they're putting all their usually effort into it is nothing short of amazing.

I do hope some of the prices have come down, though, because their stuff is fairly expensive. Perhaps with greater production runs they can get lower factory costs or soemthing.

Warcry and Flameblast I have to buy. I just love FP's general aesthetic, more so than what HasTak puts out, which is unfortunate for my budget.

The other three... I hope I end up disliking just to save the cash, or at least prefer the finished Insectrain set from Mastermind Creations.

Man... I really need to find a job already.

Is it too much of a jump to consider the Causality line is solely consisted of bad guys? They are the reason the Warbots exist correct? I ask these questions because I see something different here. It's all in the name of the figures: WARCRY - FLAMEBLAST. These are far cries away from Munitioner, Protector, Explorer, Warbot Defender, and City Commander.

Pure spectulation:
1. These are meant to be new characters and not homages.
2. There will be a line to counter Causality made of originally named "good guy" characters.
3. If Causality figures are essentially the same height, FansProject could decide to release an add on kit to allow them to combine PCC style.

Like 'em or not, these guys have talent. I'll be buying the Causality line because they represent a big step for FansProject. Congratulations on Shadow Scyther, Warcry & Flameblast! For Fans! By Fans! Amazing!

This is what I'm hoping too. I keep looking at the Gallery of Classics Devy, and I'm finding it harder by each look over to see how they could do it. So, I hope we are right, and these guys do a total redo of Devy.

As for the others- yes, I will be getting them all. In my opinion, the other 3 do look like an homage to the Insecticons, but I have been wrong a time or two before. I wonder what else these guys got up their sleeves?

I personally don't think 03 or 05 look anything like Insecticons. Sure 04 does, he's got pincers but that doesn't mean he's going to be some sort of new Bombshell. I've been dying for new Insecticons, but those figures ain't them IMO.

That being said Warcry and Flameblast look AMAZING! I'm looking forward to seeing some alt-modes on 03-05 and I wouldn't mind seeing the question marks that are 06 & 07. I've got my fingers crossed for Brawl and Vortex. (Brawler and Twister maybe?)

My guess at HeartMaster is a little more... Victory-ish. In my head I think HeartMaster could be someone obscure like Victory Saber or Blacker. On the other hand the heart is closer the the breast then the brain and since FP have pretty much reinvented combiners (again, IMO) maybe we'll get a Leozak that includes his Breastforce Targetmaster... eventually seducing us with a new Liokaiser. Maybe we'll even get Deathcobra to go with the rest of the Breastforce members which would be AWESOME

Well, I back tracked on my previous comment, from the last FP announcement. FP has heard what fans really want. So there could be a chance Crossfire-03 might not be what they intended, but what fans want it to be. This confirms nothing though.

Yup, that is true. So Crossfire is not limited to combiners only. Causality is by the same designer, but that line is for stand alone figures now.

Warcry reminds me of Growl from the Decepticon's micromaster Military Patrol. They look pretty sweet and I'm planning to pre-order these.

CA-03 thru 05 do have that Insecticon appearance to them. Warcry and Flameblast definitely do not fit in w/ the rest of them.

WB-002 is not a Defender repaint or remold. Any repaints/remolds would be the same number, with an added letter. Like TFX-01B for Shadow Commander.

Forgive my ignorance, but who is Venksta? He seems pretty clued-in. I've seen his name a lot but have no idea of his background. Does he have connections to the manufacturers?

He makes a very good point about FansProject's numbering of recolours with regards to WB-002. So it will be a new figure? Crap! I'd better get to work on a set of underwear made from 5 inch thick lead.

I have just had a thought about Crossfire-03. I assume Venksta is saying that it might be the not-Constructicons. What are the chances that TFClub's Project Deva and FansProject's Crossfire-03 are one and the same? Didn't they collaborate on FansProject's first two products? The Constructicons is a project of such scale that it would be a huge leap forward for either parties. Maybe TFClub and FansProject have combined in order to make a combiner.

Thank the lord for some clarity at last.

So Causality figures dont combine.

Warcry and Flameburst ARE homages to micromasters.

CA3-5 Are kept vague, but we can guess what they are.

Crossfire 3 is probably Devy (Im praying for an all new torso, the logical progression)

Warbot 2 isnt Springer repainted.

The heartmaster sounds really frickin cool. Fingers crossed for a powermaster or the start of a new breastforce. i have no preference since im buying it regardless.

The FP Junkion is still on the cards.

all this makes me smile. Best hurry up and get myself Defender now

Venksta runs Renderform. And by runs, I guess I mean IS. From his statements, I have a feeling he's collaborated with FP on something, but no idea which piece.
