Has anyone stopped and thought about how epic this Causality project is going to be? If all goes well, Fansproject is literally changing the game in how 3rd parties work.

The original model (GENERALITY WARNING) was like studies on human faith and patience. Eventually, like a dinner bell, the infosphere would light up with the glorious news preorders were open; and you bet we ran to get a serving. Then, more often then not, we waited some more. With preorders came dates, but they were broadly defined and suggestive at best. Ultimately, the magic does happen and we soak in the awesomeness. But then the excitement fades to contentment and it all starts over for the next product in they're queue.

That's how it was. Now, let's look at what may be. Yes, Fansproject has held back from dates for quality reasons and the price is entirely in theory. But suppose for a moment they nail a comfortable price on the head and suffer no delays.

We are talking about a new weapon the 3rd party industry has never had, a firm release schedule; particularly one that's framed to push the absolute limit between rapid succession and what their patrons can tolerate financially. We're not sitting back pining for clues of what they're kicking around next, we know exactly what's next and roughly when it'll be. Given how that fading I'm talking about hovers somewhere around a couple of months, I'd fully believe they have some genius on tap who calculated the exact formula to create an unending stream of pure glee. Through this ultimate model, Fansproject will be gods come march for six months at least. Probably the rest of the year because there are no less than five other products they're also planning.

While I'm impressed that they've planned releases on a schedule, I doubt they can get them out on time, because they haven't yet in the past. Not like it bothers me all that much.

Exactly, even if they don't hit the mark, these sets will be spectacular. I find it interesting that after the product listing it reads "and so much more." What more could they put out on top of all of the other projects?

It's possible that even they do not know yet. But who could doubt that they are capable of coming up with more awesome toys?

It's possible that even they do not know yet. But who could doubt that they are capable of coming up with more awesome toys?

Oh I do not doubt that they will come out with more and continue to raise the bar. But more than this in 2011? It took around a year to bring out Protector alone. The projects they have listed here already is more than they have put out all together. But regardless, this is awesome.

The were fairly accurate with Protector and only a week late with Scyther, so they are getting better. I will use my catchphrase and say I'm "cautiously optimistic"

I feel you. But comparing Fansproject to CrazyDevy is kinda like comparing a Boeing jumbo jet to a hang glider. If I have to fly, I'm takin Air Fansproject!

i have almost every set they made and i am very happy with all of them. i just wish warcy and flame blast wear optional combiners (i know im a crybaby) but they are very nice figures i will be getting them for my fp shelf, and i really hope they come out with a crossfire construction maximus he looks like shite!!! although the tfc will be nice if im able to get it. i just think fp would do a nice job to go with superion and bruticus.PLEASE FANSPROJECT I HAVE 2 FUGLY DEVYS THAT NEED A FACE LIFTthankyou.

I own both Crossfire sets, Defender, Protector, their Alt Prime upgrade and love them all. I'm kinda hoping their 'Heartformer' is an Arcee. Because it would be awesome.

I just had a terrifying thought that the Heartformer could be a Kiss Player, fusing with and forming the "heart" of a robot. *shudder*

Although my wager is on it being like their City Commander and Protector projects, except producing the inner robot (the novel Heartformer) as well as the upgrade armor (the amelioration).

it'll be Pi, in whatever currency you wish to use.

(I'm sure the prices will become clear once we know more things about these products. Like what they are, what size they are, how limited they may or may not be, if they smell funny, etc)

I keep thinking that preorders have to be going up pretty soon, right? Warcry is listed for a March release, and even if you take it to the last day of March, that gives them about two and a half months, which is a rather short period for preorders.

Do Warcry and Flameblast come with the combiner parts? Because they look like they'd fit in better with the Energon Combaticons than Munitioner and Explorer.

Im pretty sure they wont as they arent intended for a combination project (as far as we know).

Anyway, first on is due in March, arent we a tad overdue for preorders? normally theyre announced months in advance, and in theory its due in the next 7 weeks.

The combination port has been blocked off.

Yeah, I was thinking this a while back. Even if you assume that it'll arrive on the last day of March, we should have seen preorders go up a few weeks back. It's an ambitious schedule they got, and I hope they don't come to regret it.

Pretty certain they will not combine at all. There are photos of the connector holes being plugged. Disapointing isnt it?

A week left in the month of March. Clearly, nothing is getting released this month. Could we see preorders in the next week?

I love FansProject, but from the getgo I had a feeling that putting out a release schedule was going to haunt them.
