I like these guys, but I'm not really sure they're worth $100 each...

Has these been confirmed as FPC exclusives? or are they just getting first dibs before the other sites?

Everybody had to wait for the specific time to order and the site overloaded. People with no life sat and kept hitting refresh for an hour. I passed and got Steelcore on the 2nd run.

Whats this about $50 dollars shipping ? I have to review the prices. That's insulting if they charge $50, they can kiss my ass.

Got a response from BBTS regarding these:

"Thanks again for all your preorders & orders! There's a good chance we'll be carrying these figures as we currently carry quite a few Fans Project products. We're likely just awaiting the official preorder solicit before we can list them. According to your link it looks like this Friday is the official start so it shouldn't be long before if / when we have them listed."

I got Steelcore with no issues too on the first run. I wasn't camping at my monitor for it either. I am passing on these guys. They look very nice but they aren't Transformers dudes and I still have no place for the previously mentioned Steelcore. So yeah, I applaud the figures but they aren't for me.

Damn it sucks to be them (International buyers) I just ordered something from China and the shipping was around 12 bucks so they are screwing people. What I said about the first steelcore run was what I read somewhere on either here or TFW in the comments. Maybe they were was exaggerating. I passed that time because I wasn't sure if I even wanted him. I changed my mind and created a FP core account for the 2nd run.

So they pulled a hasbro then. Its not like generations skullgrin looked like G1 skullgrin. Thats why its a repaint. Those characters were so obscure and poorly drawn in the old comics, that a modern take on them from scratch isnt such a bad thing. Its not like they painted cyclonus white and called him ferak...

Aren't Rack n Ruin fairly plain looking with no real defining features other than being joined at the hip? Recoiler and Riftshot, while heavily reimagined, do have some similarities such as green color scheme, hammer, they're twins... and when compared picture to picture... it isn't hard to consider these guys as Rack'n'Ruin.



Sure, they aren't the spitting image, but they aren't but a stones throw away from being a reinvented version of them either imo.

Agreed, but it's $200 bucks just so that you imagine them to be who you want them to be? Mech Ideas can do this for like $60 bucks and it'll look a lot more like who they should be.

Being conjoined is one of those "Defining trait" things.

I really quite badly want the Ground Hammer pieces for Revolver, but I simply cannot in good conscience spend another £240 for two green repaints of a mould I've already purchased.

I may reconsider if BBTS are actually able to obtain a number at not too high an increased price, but I think I'm going to side with my wallet on this one and avoid. I try and be open-minded, but I do feel cheated on this occasion.

Havent posted in a while as my workplace has lifted the block on TFW2005 so ive been lurking over there for a while, catching up on the latest 3rd party news and pictures, most of which I can actually see...

These guys could realisticly be any green transforming vehicle, which of course make these no real homage or 'nod' to Rack n Ruin at all?

I hope another newer 3P company has a go at a more faithful take on everyones favourite conjoined twins. Heck, I may just glue together two Iron Man 2 Hammer Weapon Drones and be done with it?
Right scale, non transforming, posable, green, domed heads, just need a hammer and anvil making out of Green Stuff!
