He's not high on the list of figs I want, even though he looks cool. However unless it's a homage to a figure, I have less interest.

IMO 3rd party companies do best when making figures that collectors will recognize and want, but wouldn't work on the main market due to whatever reasons.
Prime Evil wrote:The "not Stunticons" should be their first full gestalt. Every limb and torso. They aren't using the pre-existing Dragstrip/Wildrider/Botcon Breakdown, or movie guys. I'm hoping we will get more stuff soon, but as with Fans Project, they won't reveal until they are ready.

At first when I saw the heartmaster pics,I got all excited & wanted to buy the figure ASAP. Then once the excitement wore off,I got less interested in the figure as the days passed. I really like the war within grimlock alt mode the toy seemed to have. I was trying to figure out the heart gimmick. I guessed it wasd either a powermaster or brainmaster homage. Either way I probably won't bother pre-ordering this figure. I prefer to just buy homage TF 3rd party TF toys.

As far as the 3rd party stunticons goes. this can go either way. I'll buy them if the toy size scale is what I prefer. call me SELFISH but I kinda want these 3rd party stunticons to be compatitable with the Energon 5-in-1 combiners. I'd like the same basic sized limbs, deluxe core leader & exact Energon 5-in-1 style combiner connector ports.

I suspose because the toy line & show had two different size scales. I wouldn't mind deluxe limbs & voyager core leader to be cartoon accurate. or basic sized limbs & deluxe core leader to be toy accurate. although like I said above i prefer them to be in Eenergon 5-in 1 combiners scale with exact combiner connector ports. PLUS I Imagine the smaller homage 1985 toy size scale would be cheaper in price than the much larger 1985 cartoon size scale.

I'm a sucker for small articulated TF's so anything -Master is a must have for me. The color scheme will really make or break this guy to be honest I think. I'm also very interested to find out who CA-6 & 7 are. I'm assuming those two figures will be the "quick hits" Kibble was referring to.

I've done some of my own research and here is what I have discovered.

First let us address the FP is dead rumour that was put out there. They obviously aren't and the web update confirms it. The rumour was started by a group that I will not name. This same group is the one putting out the KO Insecticons claiming that they are the real deal and left over stock from the now dead FP. It is all BS it is just a group trying to rip off people while riding the FP coat tails.

About FP and their 2012.

FP and MT are affiliated. To he who said one was in China and one was in Japan, I don't know how that works considering MT rents out the factory from MT. That is about as much as they are connected.

The silence is due to them wanting to be well in to the project before revealing it. This is to avoid getting the concept or idea or actual figures stolen by others. Their silence is to protect their future endeavors.

Heartmaster is still getting released.

It is said that two figures are going to be released and that those two figures will be the old Junkion and Broadside figures they hinted at years ago. What I haven't figured out yet is if the Junkion mould will follow the same plan as they originally had. Wreckgar (obviously a no go so perhaps generic Warrior) Female Junkion and Old Warrior Junkion.

They are still working out some bugs but Menasor is pretty much confirmed but how he will be released is not. From what I gathered it will be 5 original moulds and Motormaster's trailer will break apart to form all the connections for Menasor.

Hope that helps.

Beverly, can I call you Beverly? I had a teacher named Hills so I don't want the negative association bleeding through. Anyway, not to downplay your efforts but most of that was basic information, most of it can be gleamed from this very thread. Aside from the next two releases being Junkions and Broadside, which are supposed to be expensive either due to how many or how large the figures are. Now, their first full combiner will be quite costly to them well before we can actually buy it so such expensive items would be setting them up with the development cost for Menasor (the same way that the original Cliff set was used to fund City Commander.) Motormaster's trailer becoming the combiner kibble sounds like the way they did it in the Ongoing but I hope that wouldn't mean that Motormaster is just the truck cab, ala Optimus. That would be disheartening.

PS: Don't take the Beverly thing to seriously. I saw your name and, well, I like to think I'm witty.

First off the only thing mentioned in this thread was Menasor and two figures. The two figure info came from another thread of mine in another site.

No one mentioned anythign specific about Menasor, the next two bots and the rumour.

Hey I was just giving yuo all more info than you already had. Don;t like it don't read it.

How do you know if you like something without first reading it? Sorry. I like being awkward.

I agree with amcgrath929 that it makes sense that the "quick hits" would be CA-06 & -07.

I really hope Heartmaster is still in play. I still reckon it's FansProjects go at G.I. Joe Rolling Thunder crossed with a Powermaster. Highly intrigued to see what its trailer would be capable of.

As far as a team of Stunitcons go, I pray that they're one voyager and 4 deluxe figures. But then again I don't own any of FansProject's Crossfire figures so I can understand if they're more like one deluxe and four scouts.

Regardless what's next from them, there's any extremely high potential for "must have".
