I'd have to say the terrorcons... Mainly because of their badass beast forms and the fact that they are all like wild animals. And Abominus - Is... kinda cute?

For me I gotta say the Combaticons. they smacked both the autobots and decepticons around then nearly smashed earth into the seen would have worked to if it wheren't for Starscream calling Megatron to gloat. If it wheren't for the fact that there bodies where WWII vechiles reformated I think they could have taken Menasor.

The Combaticons, their combined form has a mouthplate which looks cool, and to me they all look the best of any Combiner team.
Their vehicle modes were also awesome.

Toy wise I love all of the Decepticon ones. Character wise, most of the Cons. I don't know if I could pick just one favorite, because except for Devastator I find them all real interesting characters. I think that's odd, I like the individual Constructicons but am not really into Devastator.

The Brestforce, because they're robot Yakuza and almost kill two Leader level Cybertrons in their first combination. Also they have some of the coolest names in Transformers: Hellbat, Gaihawk, Drillhorn, Killbison, Jaruga, and Leozack make up the mighty Liokaiser.
Other than them it's the Stunticons. They've been my favorite American G1 combiner team since I was a kid. I loved their toys, their characterizations, and how they were portrayed on the cartoon.

Ah, yes... The Breastforce. Funny name, but seriously wicked Transformers. Arguably the most powerful combiner team in the TF universe, too.
Loved the whole Breast Animal idea. With an ability like that, how could you not kick arse? Also loved Gaihawk and Hellbat.

Transformer names are an either-or scenario:
the weirder the name, the more awesome the bot. So having a weird, giggle-inducing name like the Breastforce made them garuanteed 150% AweSomeness.
