Ironically, I agree with you. There is risk, but not as much as people think.

And Tammuz, was that point on scientific journals directed towards me, or Loki, or who?

pretty much anyone who hasn't researched the subject further than watching TV, and reading wiki. mainly the whole climate change is hooey contingent, but really it's good no matter what side of a discussion you're on to check out your sources all the way back to their origin, and in this case thats scientific paper's and journals.

Wait....

You said:

so, internationally, the consensus amongst the vast majority of scientists is that we are driving climate change, once again it's the US that's ignoring scientists, just like it does with evolution, or the harm of smoking, or lead additives in petroleum.

but then you say:

Do you or do you not agree with the theory that humankind is exacerbating a gradual warming of the Earth?

Or did I miss something?

you've missed something.

pretty much all scientists have reason tho beleive in climate change, the US is ignoring scientists,

and the contingent for hooey as well as the media hype beleiviers are not listening to scientists either.

On Topic:
It's nice to see an interest in renewable energy. While Wind Farms tend to be a bit crap at the moment, they're certainly not going to improve if nobody builds any. It's good to see this kind of investment in something that may be instrumental to the survival of our species.

Slightly Off-Topic:
I share the sentiment expressed elsewhere that "Global Warming" has become a media bogey-man wheeled aout in place of communism/terrorism/etc to provoke a reaction, while at the same time those making a real effort to encourage sustainability and reduced environmental impact are too few and far between.
