If the make Prowl a Logic Ninja Pimp Consultant, I will have been won over by Animated before it even begins.

Wow, the packaging does does not match the figure. The curvy, swivry lines on the figure just do not match the look of the packaging. Not that there's some law that says both need to match but for me the two simply do not flow.

Can't stop thinking about how cool the packaging could have looked. Something more cartoony. Something more....HEY I KNOW, MORE ANIMATED!!! Rather than, as someone put, "looks like sports packaging"... EXACTLY!

me 2 cents

will I buy it?....yeah, I'm addicted

I think the packaging mainly pertains to the MISB collectors.

Although I do try to keep as many of the cards as I can,
and sometimes the boxes.

Oh like keeping the backs of the package. Yeah I used to do that till they took up to much space and I threw them all away........

The more I look at Animated toys, the more I get neo-G1 vibe. Something that never happened with the other series who were just that, another series of Transformers. Animated looks totally new. It blends the edgy cartoony look of G1 with modern engineering. Save for the repaints, this will be the 2nd line I will collect in its entirety (1st one being movie).

The transformation looks much better than any previous bike-bot. Including the recent Movie Arcee.

This can be a candidate for repainting.

I wonder if there's light piping for the bulbs in the traffic light.

one thing i don't like is that they gave prowl the hologram ability. that should have been kept for hound if they included him at any point in the series. and that traffic light chain weapon is an odd idea but something different none the less.

yeah i stand by my statement, the hologram ability should have been left for hound for him to be introduced into the series at one point. i mean, its not hound without his holograms! and that traffic light mace is an odd addition too (use anything as a weapon? that's something new ... o_O )

Well, Prowl's a motorcycle, he needed the ability so people wouldn't be confused by a motorcycle driving itself (it's more obvious on a motorcycle than a car, I would say). I don't really see Hound ever showing up though. Also, the hologram ability would fit this Prowl's "ninja stealth" thing.

Yeah i can agree with you on that, hound would be great for this series though. no ones brought him back in any other series, THIS IS THE TIME for his return i believe. it needs to be this series. brawn and cliffjumper as well would be awesome. i liked their interactions in the first few eps of transformers season 1

I really agree... I would just be patient, and wait until it hits the stores... at this rate, i'll probably save myself 100 bucks rather then buying it this early.

In the new movie, they all could create holographic drivers/pilots. We saw it with blackout, star scream, barricade and primes toy.
