First Images of Transformers Animated Prowl and Packaging!
Terrific! I'm impressed with the sculpt. Looks like a surprisingly realistic motorcycle in alt mode and a new sort of design for a robot. I'm OK with his being on the smaller end for a deluxe, since it makes him more in scale. I'm getting a laugh out of his traffic light accessory. Wonder what the heck that's for. I love the mecha-shuriken in his retooling as a ninja.
The packaging looks clean, modern, elegant, and in style with Animated. It catches the eye with bold colors and simplicity in contrast to the extreme complexity appropriate for the movie toys. I really enjoy how Transformers will have two extremely different aesthetics on the shelves at the same time. It goes to show the versatility of the franchise. I hope the show is good, since TF:A looks like it'll take the cake on toy lines for me since Beast Wars.

I'm not keen about the animated series but I'm digging Prowl.
Question- Why does the package say "Two bladed mecha star", when there are three blades?

I know what this is... This is an espresso machine.
No, no wait. It's a snow cone maker.

Is it a water heater?
Why are so many people unable to look at a traffic light without realising what it is? I hope you guys don't drive.
Packaging looks meh, but I don't buy TFs for the packaging. Based on what we've seen so far, I'll probably buy some of the Animated stuff, but I'll really want to find replacement heads for them.

Perhaps because you get TWO bladed mecha stars with the figure - it does say plural.
I'm thinking there's one for each wheel, and that's where they're stored in vehicle mode.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of this particular figure, but there are so many figures in this line I love the look of - like Bulkhead, Prime, the Dinobots - I can't wait. It's this line and cartoon which has reignited my interest in Transformers after the film; which practically drained my of all Transformers joy, I'm afraid to say.
I can't wait until 2008 (actually I bought a test-shot of Bulkhead - can't wait for that to arrive first)!

Now that is awesome. Ruler of the Energon Arcees!!!
I believe the stop light looks to be some kind of mace. It 'unclearly' says "Traffic Light 'Chain' _____________" I believe.
Beautiful, although, the colors for Prowl are off a bit, I'll nab a few of them, and glad to see Prowl back in a sweet new Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow-esque role.

I agree that the package design for this is quite unimpressive.
Spectacular Spider-man is a better written, better animated show and has a better theme song... Hands down!

In all honesty, who cares about the packaging anyway? It's the toy I care about.

I'm guessing Hasbro want packaging that'll be very different from the Universe line that'll be running at the same time to avoid confusion.

It's....busy. And colorful.
...it'll be eye candy for the kids.
No matter how hard I try, I just can't get into it.
Ah well.

Yeah, same here. Nice line for the kiddies. Hopefully the show will be a half decent watch for me, and I'll be content.

Or wait for Ryan to post pictures in the gallery?
It's a weapon. It's a mace. He's a traffic cop, that's a stop light, ticket, etc. It all fits. He's in disguise, so his weapon would be too.
I dunno about you, but if someone ten plus feet tall came swinging at me with a TRAFFIC LIGHT...I'm sure I'd do my best to outrun it, and be really sorry the first hit didn't kill me...because...ow.
