That appears to be an animation error, cuz Prime had only one in later episodes too.

PLEASE can the guy who owns this toy in this thread. please can you confirm whether or not this MP-10 Truck cab has drivers side & passenger front side windows or not.

I think I might see tiny front side windows on the passegener & drivers side. but since all the pics everywhere are so small. I'm not certain.

I can clearly see it has a drivers side mirrow & passenger side mirror.

Wow this Prime looks amazing up close, details everywhere. The price is still too steep but i'm at least more tempted now to get this. I still would like to see some pictures compared to Alternators though.

Look in the links in the news story, there's a whole gallery. There are no significant side windows. That and the silly-looking axe are the only real flaws I can see. It's an amazing figure. I only wish I could afford it.

he looks ACCURATE AND SUPERB AS HELL with those henkei / classics ... the scale with that just feels so .. wow ...

blahh ... at some point or another there will be an american version though .......... I hope.....

Prime still looks bigger than Grimlock. LOL!!.......

I just saw the gallery pics from the seibertron.com news site page. Their appears to be tiny transparent clear side door windows on the drivers side & passegener side windows. AS LONG AS THEIR WINDOWS on 2 side doors i'm happy. I don't care if their too small. I don't need them to be overly over sized & gigantic.

It's worth mentioning,that I looked at my Hasbro 25th MP Optimus Prime on my display shelf & IT ALSO HAS TINY SIDE DOOR WINDOWS on the passenger & drivers side.

It reminds me of the trailers in Japan from the back. I'm not sure if that is what they were basing it off.

I emailed whkvictor about the leg articulation and he said that Prime also has a thigh swivel. I don't know why he doesn't show that in the gallery cos some of those poses come out as rather odd.

What are all the rectangular holes for on the trailer? A future release with something attaching there?

after finding out they got rid of the suspension,articulated hands, and light up chest im really debating getting this especially at 250.

Amazon Japan has reduced their price of MP-10 Convoy from Yen 23,000 to Yen 16,000 , which is basically $250 USD to $180 USD. (And no, they don't ship outside of Japan). But I wonder if the price reduction will be seen in other retailers.

I think that's about the price amiami is/was selling him for. But I would guess shipping would run $30+ on a package that size & weight.

I remember someone mentioned duck feet. Well, I just got MP-10 from the store last night, and upon seeing it in person, I have to say the duck feet thing is merely a matter of which angle you look at the fig from.

From a downward front angle, it give the illusion of really long and flat feet because of the wedge shape of the toes. From the side, it looks perfectly proportionate.

On another thing, the axe looks like crap. It's made from some really cheap looking cloudy plastic and is nothing like the clear orange on the box.

The transforming ion rifle looks weird. The proportions just look wrong.

On a positive note, the fig looks almost "timeless," a good combination of the G1 classic look, but with an updated feel--kind of like the IDW comics designs.

Articulation-wise, his heels are more maneuverable than MP-1. The index fingers boast double joints, enabling him to bend and straighten his finger. Alas, the thumb is static, and the other three fingers are molded together and only bend at the knuckles.

P.S., I thought of posting this on the reviews page, but the lack of in-hand photos might make this a boring review.

Man I AM sorry, but compared to MP-01, you are getting ripped off. What is sad, is that after over 25 years, MP-01 nor MP-10 have a more realistic vehicle mode than G1 Prime.

It's not supposed to be "realistic", it's supposed to "fiction-accurate". This isn't Alternators, Alternity, or the movie lines, in which there are realistic licensed vehicles used for altmodes. This is Masterpiece, in which the figures are intended to be the best representations of the characters that match their character models as closely as possible.

Yea G1 Prime has a better alt-mode, but his bot-mode looks like ass compared to this.
Seriously, who gives a crap about a realistic looking alt-mode as long as the bot-mode is awesome. If you want a realistic looking truck, go buy a model of a truck.

So is that why they changed both MP Megatron's and MP Starscream's robot modes so much to give them both better alt modes? The other masterpieces have better alt modes, save for MP01 and MP10.

They had to find a balance between the two forms in order to make both as accurate as possible and still enable them to transform into each other.

I actually think MP Starscream looks great in both modes & looks close enough to the G-1 toy/cartoon designs to make me satisfied.

Doing MP Megatron's toys wasn't going to be a easy task. I'm kinda amazed they were able to fold up that whole 13 inch tall robot body into that skinny gun mode.

I'm kinda hoping takara or a 3rd party does a cartoon accurate gun mode toy. where the entire gun+riffle extensions are permant parts of the toy don't detach/pop off & transform into the robot mode for megatron. i'd imagine with more pieces/parts on the riffle gun mode,they could solve some problems on the robot mode. like giving the limbs more bulk,having the front riffle black gun scope transform into the forearms,while the biceps get more arms. having the lower legs/shins use the black back part of the riffle guns extensions. while the gun back handle becomes the upper legs.
