First Look at BTS-01 Motion Cryptotype Base

More translucent plastic news rolls in today, as it looks like Third Party BTS is releasing a varient to their BTS-01 Commmand Base called the Motion Cryptotype Base. This one features clear plastic, perhaps meant for the exclusive and very elusive Henkei Clear Convoy. This set also looks to include some of the items from BTS-02 Weapon set. Among one of the items is a gun that also acts as a hatch - allowing connectivity between the base and Animated Prime or Classics Rodimus. Take a look at a batch of photos featuring BTS's work below.

I like this. Based on these pics, I'd actually think about getting it if I hadn't already got the Mobile Command Base.
My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

Man, and we complain about Hasbro milking the heck out of molds. You can get the original trailer on clearance for a while now, with the FP G3 Trailer blowing it out of the water, so what do they stand to gain with the clear plastic version?
Guess we can blame the guys that buy everything for this one.

This is... yeah. It was a good trailer the first time around, a decent alternative to the G3 trailer. Now... time to put it to bed.

While I think it's a dumb release move on their part (though, the production costs on these things must be close to nothing...), it's 'us guys' that buy everything who help to finance new molds. Just sayin'
