Not really....theres too much red and it looks REALLY dull. This factored in with the amount it will cost to import really doesnt make this seem like a better deal no matter how you look at it.

Besides the original just looks like it fits in better with the other classics with their bright colors where as this just looks like another boring repaint.

And acid is cool so i dont see that as a thing to use in a negative context but im digressing...

It looks pretty cool, but it's not a must have. It's pretty much on what colors you like. Megatron himself i thought was really good. All except for the cybertronian faerie wings! Ugggh!

Takara's version should have been good. But the random splatter of red gave it a bad taste.

The distribution of the white and black on the gun mode is also childish.

Define "childish" in this sense.

I really liked the look of this mould, but the colours really put me off in robot mode. But this guy is on my list. Now, if only FP can get one in for a sensible price.

Some parts have colors striving for a mature-gun G1-eesh wannabe. Some parts want to be a kiddie space laser gun.

It just doesn't add up.

It doesn't fit together in one whole theme.
