Fixing the shoulders of First Edition Bumblebee

I just picked up two FE Bumblebees and I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out a way of changing how the shoulders move without impairing the transformation. They swing out on a really weird angle and its really bothering me.
Any help, tips or advice is welcome and appreciated
