I trust FP, I have used them a few times and have had no such problems with them. I would guess it was just a glitch or something.

The same thing happenrd to me with play.com, I was waiting months for the thing, it said it was in stock, but they never took any money or delivered it. In the end I had to cansel my order. Maybe you will need to do the same?

I guess these things just happen every so often, everywhere runs into snags every so often.

Forbidden Planet aren't the best company but they're not too dishonest to my knowledge. At least they haven't taken your money.

They used to be a lot better than they are these days... their stock of Animé merchandise has declined over the years and their prices are as uncomfortably high as always. But then I got spoiled on super cheap US prices, so they're always too high for me.

Their website isn't the best, and the stores can be disorganized too. Their product file might be off, and it could be down to several reasons, internal theft, delivery deficits or any other reason.

But they are a business and wouldn't pass up the opportunity to take your money if they could, so they must be out of stock.

Try Amazon.

I always buy TF toys from Amazon. Never had any problems yet.
