Hola guys n gals! Just thought Id shoot my two cents in here reguarding the fall of cybertron figure I foud this a.m.
First optimus prime. He is SMALL!!! He is roughly the size of classics bumble bee. Wonder ehy they always do that?
every time they release an o.p. figure he is small in comparison to the rest of his troops. Classics delux size o.p., this o.p. even the original are all small. The only exception baring the voyagers ofcourse is the war for cybertron o.p. He is pretty good lookin and a decent size.
Jazz is a nicely done figure. If I didnt already own the sheer perfection that is the rts special opps jazz Id have nabbed this guy. He looks to be on par with the rest of the delux figs maybe just a tad bit smaller in circumfrance.
Shockwave..... Well I love this one. Hadda get him. Infact, so far, he and screamer are the only foc figs that I saw that were getting me excited.Having said that shocker is a bit small. Especially his legs. Heres hoping that screamer isnt as tiny as prime.

Shockie, Optimus, Starscream, Fireflight/Air Raid, and Grimlock are the only ones I want so far.

Fir me, it's Starscream, Grimlock, Shockwave, and Kickback. Not a fan of faux kibble, which means I'll be passing on Jazz and Sideswipe.

OP is too small to make any sense displayed with the other FOC figs. In any case, I'm not liking his "fist on wheels" design. Much prefer his more streamlined WFC look.

This line have very limited molds available (at least for now), so for me I'll just choose which one I prefer out of the 2(or 3) of the same molds.

Actually I find that OP is way better than Jazz in terms of almost everything. Jazz is easiest the weakest of wave 1.

If you notice, the newest of Transformers lines, even PRiD, are getting a limited amount of molds. We've only gotten a tops of 18 new molds in PRiD, if not, less.

Considering these are some of Hasbro's largest and most popular TF lines right now, 18 doesn't sound like a lot.

Yeah. I wish we could get more new mouldsas well. Im not sure where I stand with the combticon foc figs yet. They dont have a classic look at all as far as I can tell.
Not to say they had to have a classic look only that every other figure done so far has.
I realy liked the wfs ironhide. Wish wed have gotten him and ratchet.

After seeing with my own eyes how small Prime is I shudder to think how small Grimlock will end up being...

As for the number of molds, as I recall, WfC only got 4 molds (Prime, Megatron, Soundwave and Bumblebee/Cliffjumper).

We already have way more than that confirmed for FoC.

I haven't found Voyager figures shrinking that much. Just checked there and PRID Megatron is actually a bit taller than Classics Jetfire. Doesn't have quite the same bulk, but much of that is kibble on Jetfire anyway. I'm sure there are cutbacks on the larger toys too, but height-wise I don't think the new Voyagers are suffering as much as the new Deluxes.

My thoughts exactly. That and my dreams of having a starscream that can look a bit larger than classics screamer does standing next to voyager megs have been dashed as I am sure he will be small too.

Size aside Op is a pretty cool figure with way better articulation than the WFC version, and you just know that Magnus Repaint is going to look awesome. However putting size back in he's going to make even less sense as a "deluxe" as there will be nothing short of scouts and below he can stand next to.

Can't wait for that Grimlock though.......

I came across Prime, Shockwave and Jazz at TRU. Bought Shockwave, passed on the others. Then I changed my mind and went back for Prime. He's not as bad as I thought. Yes, rather small and simple, but since I changed my collection to mostly deluxes, it fits. I am looking forward to Jetfire, Starscream, Grimlock and Ultra Magnus. Probably pass on the rest, unless they really catch my eye at the store.

A tad bit smaller? FoC Jazz, in alt mode, is hardly bigger than RTS SCOUT Windcharger. It's the smallest "Deluxe" I've ever seen. Put him next to WFC Bumblebee and they don't even look like they're from the same line, let along the same size class.
