You forgot Classics Skywarp: Target Exclusive and SDCC 2005 Legends Skywarp :-B

But it does get the point across. The only general retail Skywarps we've had in the past 10 years were:

- Armada (rare in the US)
- Universe 2003
- Cybertron
- Animated

Either way there's just a big trend with Warp right now and I think the FOC toy is going to be a Takara exclusive..

Erm... WFC/FOC Skywarp shares a body type with Starscream; so he should be the same mold. (Changing out the weapons would be nice, though.)

Of course, this tradition dates back to the original toys.

I can understand favoring unique molds over recolors in general; but in this case it would just be inaccurate.

But that's what he SHOULD be! Him and Thundercracker, both. If he DOES get his own mold, on the shelf he stays. That's what killed Cybertron/Galaxy Force Thundercracker - well, that and his crappy gun arm...

Rare in the US, but plentiful in Europe. Same thing happened with Energon Ultra Magnus

But that's what Skywarp is, and always has been. Granted there are times when I tire of Starscream being repainted just for the sake of having more of his seeker kin. I'd much prefer the ideal of having them all have similar bot modes and differing jet forms... but ultimately a repaint is simpler and cheaper.

Why does Screamer, of all cons, come with the scrapmaker anyway? His signature weapons are null rays! If a Skywarp does happen and HE gets null rays I swear I'll just :BOOM:

Maybe someone wrote incorrect name when they packaged skywarp some time ago... I collect only that small size and I think he is one that went in front of everybody eyes and no1 noticed him :shock:

Yes, Might be, however here a closer comparison of my toys. Same silver chest, black body and ok thats not a purple is more like silver blue, however for the official movie Thundercracker he has not exactly a blue in this scale, is also silver. (Plus the boxing was showing plain "Starscream", instead of "stealth Starscream" wich was released before already, or what I guess a "Skywarp". So until we get any official Skywarp released, I have this as the closest match)

Odd, I didn't have trouble finding either one in the US.

These days, though. Couldn't find a Wreck Gar to save my life, and I think there's pretty much no chance of any stores here restocking with any future PRID waves since the shelves are clogged with deluxe Bumblebees and voyager Optimuses. I swear, one place had two dozen bees and three cliffjumpers and that's it for deluxes.

Hasn't Skywarp ALWAYS been a repaint of Starscream? You'd rather have NO Skywarp than have one that's a repaint of SS?

Cybertron Skywarp: repaint of Cybertron Thundercracker
BWII Skywarp: slight repaint of Beast Wars Magnaboss Silverbolt

Same rule apples nonetheless: once a repaint, always a repaint >:oP
