Sorry if this has been answered before, I looked all over and could not find anything.

1) I just got a (supposedly)vintage, original G1 Silverbolt. The cockpit and his eyes are silver, but it's coming off. Is this original, or did someone paint it, or something altogether different?

2) I also got a (supposedly)vintage, original G1 Skydive. His rub symbol is under his wing, and the rub symbol itself, the black area, looks slightly smaller, and the black/silver edge is not that crisp.

Was any of this not common, but did happen? Is it a knockoff, reissue, etc. Any help or explanation would be appreciated.

Silverbolt's eyes and cockpit were not silver so it's likely you have a KO or someone has painted it.

Yeah, after looking at Silverbolt more closely, it was painted on there by someone.

The Skydive I suspect could be a knockoff, but the rubsign is on the underside of the right wing, and the rubsign does not look quite right. I didn't know if anyone had run into that kind of rubsign placement.

As you can see on this one. The rubsign for Skydive should be on the top of his tail fin, and not on his main wing.

It could be a reprolabels rubsign. While good, they aren't perfect replications of the original. And if one of the Aerialbots is painted, it might be that they decided to replace the stickers as well.
