Thank you. I still have him in a window box with a cheap 3P Vector Sigma beside him.

I think Scourge and Cyclonus' molds are unfortunately among those missing in action, along with Springer, Blurr, and Wreck-Gar.shawnmct wrote:I just now came across this wonderful figure. This should REALLY be in the reissue line!!!!
* Cyb. Galvatron key, missiles
* Omega Lock
* Primus Cyber Key, coattail panel
* Powerlinx Comettor
* Leader Sentinel Prime sword, shield
* RiD Galvy dragon head, beast arms
* Leader Ironhide windshield, R hood assy.
* Cyb. Wing Saber left chestplate (argh)

Mildly envious that yours transforms.

As for transformation, I do have to be very careful when I do it, the paint scrapes at some points. I took him apart to do most of the painting. The paint scraping was waaaaay worse until I did a polyurethane coat. I wasn't even going to bother with the top coat until I noticed that; and I did it with him assembled, but kept it out of most of the joints.
Thank you so much for the idea! Its easily in my top 10 favorite pieces in my collection now, and definitely the best conversation piece. This is my first full repaint as well, I'd done a few 3D printed replacement parts (Galvatron cannon and Scorponok head), but nothing that went and changed who a character is.

You're welcome, and thank you for the comments. Since that first custom, I've learned to sometimes sand or shave parts slightly to allow for primer, paint, and topcoat layers building up. Especially in peg and tab holes. Other times I've let it go because, "Eh, nobody's gonna see this except me."
