G1 Razorstorm

I was recently staring at my Sharkticon and came up with an idea for a seeker repaint. Unfortunately, I have minimal to no skills so I commissioned Kevin Lange (from Mirage's Boxes) to make my custom. Here's the bio I wrote...

RAZORSTORM

Mercenary
Function: Aerial Assassin

?Instinct is more reliable than memory.?

Bio: Discovering the battle-ravaged carcass of a Sharkticon in waning stasis lock, the mercenary Detritus built Razorstorm by meticulously melding attributes of his previous form along with a cache of salvaged seeker components. Though completely reformatted, Razorstorm still suffers damage to his neural pathways and remains unable to recall neither the events leading to his stasis confinement nor his atypical intellect.

Preferring flagrant offences to tactical subterfuge, Razorstorm revels in the freedom of raining terror on terrestrial beings from overhead. Yet, owing his life and allegiance to Detritus, Razorstorm unwaveringly executes every command according to designed precision.

Abilities: While hovering, Razorstorm can generate focused cyclonic microbursts to suck up unsuspecting enemies (and unlucky allies) into his twin, wing-mounted turbines fabricated entirely from his hardened steel Sharkticon teeth. Continually regenerating, these blades effortlessly slice through most Cybertronian alloys up to three meters thick. Reaching Mach 2, Razorstorm sprays the shards of his mangled victims over the unsuspecting warriors below.

Weaknesses: Susceptible to enemy fire due to limited mobility while shredding his victims, he routinely jams turbines by literally biting off more than he can chew.

Intelligence 8
Speed 9
Endurance 6

Courage 10
Firepower 5

And here's the link to the images (I hope I set this up correctly):

Ooo. Aside from the pink missiles looking a little out of place, I'd say this looks like one gorgeous paintjob - good colour selection, and judging by the pics, a pretty smooth application, too. What did you use?

Thanks Hobbyist Prime! I had always wondered why Hasbro didn't paint Thrust's blades. So I came up with the idea for a new bot entirely rather than just adding that paint ap to Thrust. I chose hot pink for the missiles cuz I wanted to pull in more of Gnaw's original 80's-riffic color scheme. Kevin (from Mirage's Boxes) who did the actual painting has mad skills.

As for Talon  , I had never even heard of him until Dark_Fool posted the link. Can't help but feel a bit sheepish now. :)

Hi Ramrider, I just heard back from Kevin and he said that he applied the base coat with flat white spray paint and after masking the necessary areas, he airbrushed the Turqoise. Details like the wing blades and missiles were hand painted by paint brush.
