What color are his guns closest to? the white plastic that make up his arms, or the grey for his wings?

The guns are white.

He's an amazing figures by the way. I bought him complete a few years back for $30 and have never regretted it. He's a good solid figure and has a nice design.

the reason I asked the question was because I got repro guns made awhile back (cuz I refuse to pay $40 for the pair) and they came to me the same grey as his wings. Not a big deal, just wanted to make sure. I told the guy who made them that I thought they should have been white but he told me his originals were grey.

possibly a variant? or the reissue?

I've only ever seen them white, he may have just been trying to take you for a ride, so to speak.

My assumption was he just didnt wana go through the hassle of fixing the problem. Honestly I was/am just happy to have a complete Sixshot, his alt modes look a little bare without those guns. The repro guns themselves are of pretty decent quality especially for the price.

A part of does wish they were white...or even better, the real ones! :lol:

Mine are white too. My Six Shot, though, is the Takara reissue. I got him at the San Diego Con back in 2007. He was my fav as a kid.

Yeah definitely white they are no doubt. He is one of my favorite G1's even as a reissue which I was lucky to get my hands on. I seem to recall seeing that the reissue used the plastic for packaging instead of Styrofoam. I should have bought another one sealed at the time but I love this G1 so much a year ago I bought another MISB for around $200. IMHO worth a every dime but every now and then I wonder if it is acutally Sixshot inside :-?
