I have heard of variants in the color purple camouflage apps to G2 onslaught.

I hadn't heard of sticker color variations, until I stumbles across one on ebay.

It was purchase to inspect and document, so it will either end up on here for sale/trade or go back to ebay.

Both have the same mold numbers.
The camouflage is identical on both figures just the one figure us just worn.

If I were to guess, I'd say one was just left in the sun a little too long.

The lighter one was that way when I bought it in package a long time ago. The purple was my newer acquisition. Any one else care to compare theirs to these two.

Ahh, apologies. You didn't specify which was the variant. I haven't had G2 Onslaught in a loooooong time.

The paler purple really does look like sunfade. My G2 Onslaught has dark purple stickers.

I dunno, I mean it's gotta be hard for sunfade to affect all sides of the stickered area to the same degree. I'd think the plastic would probably show signs of fading as well... at the very least there'd be a visible difference in the paint apps if there were any fading going on... wouldn't there?

I would believe sun fade if mine (the light one) wasn't kept on the shelf as part of Bruticus. Maybe the blue ink evaporated. None of the paint or plastic is faded. Viewed them under various light sources to confirm the plastic color. Camera actually has the darker one appear lighter than it does in person.
