With thanks to pics from crazysteve's archived site, I was able to craft a catch (fitting an expansion spring was the easy part) for my G2 Silverbolt, and so his base-mode launcher actually works now!

Wow this is super awesome. It seems so much more appropriate to have this feature on a G2 figure seeing how they were all gimmicky. I really want to do this now.

Thanks, both of you. JelZe, it took a few hours to get the catch to come out just the right shape. But sooo worth it.
