Well, Ready By Dawn admitted they didn't get as much of the source code as they would have liked, so there's a lot they had to do from scratch. The graphics lack the rough parchment filter, or it's at least heavily toned down, but it doesn't take away from the visual experience as much as you'd think. On the gameplay side, though, it's a different story; it's apparently much, much easier to pull off attacks on the PS2 version. Even Nintendo Power admits that the combat on the PS2 version was superior to the point that they recommended the PS2 version over the Wii version.
Yes, Nintendo Power recommended buying a game for PS2, not for a Nintendo System. Mind = Blown.
Okami:
The game is still frakking amazing. Met Waka, who started talking in french, then pulled a Lightsaber on me that he named Pillow Talk.
Okay.
Got a key to the next area via a fishing minigame, which was actually a lot better than most fishing mini-games. Next up: That place.

It's a startling lack of bias in the one place you'd actually expect everyone to be biased! I can see where the reviewer is coming from, though; Regular attacks, especially combos, are damn near unusable with the Wii's control scheme, (I only got through a training segment when I realized I could only pull off the combo I had paid for by not looking at the screen) which are probably fine with a regular button setup. I know for a fact Twilight Princess didn't duffer this, I played both Gamecube and Wii versions and both controlled fine.
Still a mind-blowingly awesome game, though.

Anyway, I'm fighting the last boss in God Hand. 2 Life Bars. Totally upsetting, but understandable, seeing as how he's the last boss and all. That, and he literally throws power-uos at you. Still, tricky bastard, isn't he?
Oh, and I beat Shadow of the Colossus AGES ago. I don't get how you never beat it Shadowman. Did you get stuck? or you couldn't find the time? I say make time dammit!
It's sad though. I doubt God Hand will ever get a sequel due to how badly it was reviewed, (for reasons I sadly agree with for the most part)
If they ever DID make a sequel, It'd probably play like Asura's Wrath.
(Want that game)

No, it's about the same both ways. The Wii version can be played in 16:9, if that's your thing but ultimately they're about the same graphics wise. And you CAN use a Gamecube controller to play it...but obviously only the Gamecube version. The Wii version is mirrored, by the way, since Link, who is notably left-handed, (Even in the Gamecube version) had to hold his sword in his right hand to match the way the Wiimote is held. I guess they figured if Link was going to be switched around, Hyrule itself might as well be too.

And if you're looking for the "correct" orientation, the GameCube version it is, especially with Lake Hylia being in the southwest like in Ocarina of Time.

I'm well aware. It does seem kind of odd, though, now that I'm thinking about it. Why did they mirror the entire world, when all they needed to do was to make a right-handed Link model? It seems kind of silly now. It doesn't take away from the game, though, I still love Twilight Princess.

Anyway, I know Iv'e been ON and ON about God Hand lately, but I have a question. The leader of the four devas. Were have I heard that voice before? It's really been bugging me! Iv'e heard that exact voice somewere else, used in the same exact way, but were?
*EDIT* Darren Norris, who voices Knockout. They sound VERY similar.

Made it to Sei-An City, and--oh great, giant toxic cloud in addition to Cursed Zones all over. This will be good. Teamed up with the Priestess Rao (Who Amaterasu is totally lesbian for, though let's be honest, we're all lesbian for Rao) and her sexy sexy theme (Complete with sensual moaning) to invade a sunken ship to find the Fox Rods.
You have no idea how hard it is to not make a joke about helping Rao find a rod. Almost as hard as m--no, we're not going there.

You must be new to the internet. Enjoy your stay.
Halo 2 [PC]:
Installed, realized my settings were still saved from my last installation. Jumped into a multiplayer game (I guess multiplayer, which has a mind of its own, decided to work tonight), a CTF in the District. Lost 5-0 and I don't think I got any kills. Yeah, one of those days...
Started a fresh single-player run. Currently at the Delta Halo level, fighting my way to the tower to extend the bridge.

I have. I fired one shot and missed, but as he was desperately trying to wheel himself away I nailed him right in the head. Exploded, said his name, etc. etc. Mind you, that was on my first playthrough. But yeah, there's like a million different ways to kill the End. Or just three, regular, shooting him after that cutscene, and by messing with the clock.
