Beat the Temple of Winds. For my trouble, I got the Ocarina of Winds, because Hylians totally dig Ocarinas. Now, at least, I can teleport across Hyrule, so I don't have to walk a million damn miles.

Back at the Castle town, I met three ladies named Din, Farore, and Nayru, who, although it hasn't been mentioned, are in fact the three Goddesses who created Hyrule and the Triforce. They are looking for affordable housing. (The Sacred Realm foreclosed, apparently)

Completed career mode on medium with all 5 stars. It's not a major accomplishment but it saves me something I'll have to do later.

Crysis: Warhead
Started the game but still tweaking the settings to get the best performance. Storywise, only just started. Just reclaimed the KPA beach resort (5-star restaurants deserve to be liberated).

Mario Kart Wii
Played some quick rounds and unlocked the 3rd level cups in both the new tracks and the classics. Only scored a silver on the classic track set though.

Advance Wars [GBA]:
Cleared the APC training mission. Still not entirely sure how to use the APCs, though. Supply command's got me confused. Can they ONLY supply units that are low, or something?

Final Fantasy 1: Dawn of Souls [GBA]:
Got all my d00ds to level 20. My party consists of Rapist [Warrior], Hijack [Thief], V!0L8R [Red Mage,] and H4><02 [Black Mage].

Finally found out how to 'go west.' First I had to go south to Elfheim, then west a bit, then north.

Reached the Western Keep. The King was hard. He used Death on Hijack, twice. Luckily, H4><02's Blizzara made short work of him.

Brought the Crystal Eye to Witch, only have to trek all the way back to Elfheim with the potion from her. Woke the Elf Prince up from his sleep curse, got the Mystic Key. Now I have to go back to every place I've been in order to find new stuff that was locked.

Got the stuff from the Treasure Rooms of the Elf castle and Cornelia castles, including the explosives for the Dwarf in the mine. I'll check out the marsh cave before I go to the Dwarves' mine.

Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap:
Got the third Element, so now I can split into Three Links.

I'm now in the Palace of Winds, and I have an item called the Roc Cape. It allows me to jump.

Think about that. I can jump, at will, in a Zelda game. How many other games, aside from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, allowed that?

This dungeon is a bitch and a half, though. I end up falling off repeatedly, and so far, I haven't gotten a Warp Point to the Entrance. (Each Dungeon has Three warp points to the entrance, typically two after mini-boss fights, and one after Boss Fights)

EDIT: I got two Tiger Scrolls of note: Sword Beam and Peril Beam. The Sword Beam is what you'd think; with full hearts, yo can shoot a laser forward out of your sword, which was half my battle strategy in the original Zelda. The Peril Beam is the opposite, while just as powerful as the Sword Beam, it only fires if you only have one heart.

So yay me.

Link's Awakening FTMFW. I had to restart that one about 6 times because I kept accidentally deleting my flashcart's data, but man was it worth it. I can't forget that final cutscene.

I hope they make a sequel to Link's Awakening, only rather than have the Wind Fish's dream, it should be the Wind Fish's nightmare. A dark, dangerous Koholint with Marin (that was the chick, right?) as some kind of sexy assassin, or something. And the evil shopkeeper who kills thieves with lighting could be... an evil shopkeeper who kills thieves with lighting.

A fanboy can dream, can't he?

Final Fantasy 1: Dawn of Souls [GBA]:
I can't put this down. I'm up late every night playing it in bed. Among other places.

Got all my party members to Level 22. Gave the Dwarf the nitro powder. The explosion cutscene was great. Met the Mermaid in the place with the leaky statue. Reached the derelict town. Contemplating whether or not I should drop 36 grand on some armour.

It wasn't even Pre-Boss. That dungeon went of forever.

Although I did beat it. Now I have the Four Sword...meaning, by sheer technicality, I'm playing a Four Sword games, which I something I have never done, nor tried to do before.

I did get the warp pads back to the entrance...past the half-way point.

A bunch of stained glass windows told the story of the Four Sword, about how an evil (Which looked suspiciously like Ganon) was sealed away by by a Great hero (Who looked suspiciously like Link) and a princess who possessed the Light Force. (Malon...no I'm kidding, it was Zelda)

Then Vaati appeared, and realize that if he killed Zelda, he could have the Light Force, which is probably not the same as the TriForce, because why couldn't he just kill Link on the spot if that was the case? Or hunt down Ganon, he's got the more powerful of the three.

In any case, now I have to go through an evil version of Hyrule Castle.

Final Fantasy 1: Dawn of Souls [GBA]:
Went to the messed-up town in the west. Went to the Earth Cavern. Explored. Grinded (ground?). Didn't finish exploring it, but reached the 3rd basement. Returned to town to use the Inn.

Decided to explore the overworld. Headed west (went around the world, so technically went east), reached the town of Crescent Lake. This town is beautiful, meaning that their prices are probably damn high. I have about 90k saved up, I'll see how far it goes.

When I'm done, I'm heading back to the Earth Cavern to kick some ass. Got my whole party to Level 28, I think.

Have you fought the Vampire yet? The Vampire is near the half-way point in the Earth Cave.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones:
Never finished Rekka no Ken. Might not finish this one.

In what may or may not be a completely different universe to Rekka no Ken, Eirika, a princess in a kingdom that just had it's ass kicked, is looking for her brother, who has gone off to prevent any further ass-kicking. We've teamed up with a neighboring country's guys...not their soldiers, but a Pegasus Knight and a Healer. We've also met a thief, and a cry-baby archer who he acts like a complete ass towards. (Which really doesn't help her cry-baby-ness)

One thing I liked about this over Rekka no Ken is that I can visit shops between missions, while in Rekka no Ken, I had to hope there would be a shop so I could re-supply everyone, because weapons break over time.

If it was, I'd play that game right now. Link's Awakening FTW

I haven't fought the Vampire yet, but I've only completed exploring the first 2 floors of the Earth Cavern. About 3/4 done the third.

That's the problem. After you fight the Vampire, you have to go meet a guy in a different cave, then do a few more floors of the Earth Cavern, and then you fight the Fiend of Earth, Lich.

considering this game's difficulty, it's fair to keep a boss tally. at least until I beat it at least once, anyway.
Sent Splash woman down the drain, sent Galaxy man into Orbit, and pulled the plug on plug man.
Also severely disappointed with a shop purchase. I saw the roll icon for 200 bolts and thought "cool, a skin to play with". Instead, she just changed into a different outfit for the shop screen. Waste of bolts on both counts.
