Ocarina of Time was an amazing game, and Twilight Princess amazing-er. Just wait until you meet Midna. She's like Navi, except less annoying and with much more snark. I won't spoil it for you, but there's also a damn good reason she's so popular with...*ahem* "artists of that sort of material."

We don't go to Ravenholm. Let's just leave it at that.

I always dug Link to the Past and Link's Awakening more. Too much about Ocarina of Time just didn't work for me. And if you're referring to Midna's, er, ultimate form, than I have just one onomatopoeic for you: unf. If that's NOT what you referring to, than FFFFFFFFF.

Also, I forgot to mention that at one point in Twilight Princess, one of the townspeople called Link "mah boy." I literally laughed right the eff out loud.

Yeah, I meant true form Midna. The hot redhead who is basically Hyrule's equivalent of a Dark Elf.

I was at a friend's place as he finished the game on the Wii. Good times.

It's real close to the start of the game, before you even get the fishing rod. If you want to check it out, you'll get there in probably less than 10 minutes. I don't know if it's intentional, but you can understand how hard I laughed when I unexpectedly read "mah boy" in some Zelda dialogue. It might have been "m'boy," now that I think about it. At any rate, it was fantastic.

Made some more progress. Finished the witch's school painting and fought a less-than-epic frog thingy. From there, explored and ran into Death. Despite both parties agreeing nothing would be gained, we still fought. Death was a punk, but a fun one to fight. Scared him off and now I can explore more.

Death is Dracula's oldest pal, and always fun to have around. And fun fact, his HP is always 4444.

Also, for the bosses to come, you're going to have to follow an age-old Castlevania tradition: Going out of your way to find random objects you'd never think to even look for to get an alternate way to beat a boss that otherwise seemed normal.

This franchise is unbeatable without a guide.

Attesting to the truth of this. Looked up a FAQ to find the purification spell. Location translates to 'Area you visited in the first 2 hours and never thought you'd have any reason to return to'. Same goes for an early quest from Wind that I'd sat on that was in the same area. Even when you've full explored the map, there's always nooks and crannies to find.

Giggity.

Unreal Tournament 3 Black Edition [PC]:
Having fun botmatching, collecting some Achievements along the way. Played a bunch of Greed and got the "deliver 500 skulls" one while working on weapons proficiency ones along the way.

Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus [Gamecube]:
Had a scare last night when I booted up the game after having hit the Reset button in a menu before loading any saved data. When I started it up, I was presented with the EULA you see when there's no PSO data on your memory card. Uh oh.

The game then told me I needed to format my memory card. Naturally, I decided not to and rebooted into the system menus. Same deal. I was told I needed to format the memory card. So I rebooted with it in Slot B instead of A and it read as normal. Good thing I didn't wipe it, eh?

Game-wise, I reached Level 4 and found the big-ass dragon at the end of Forest 2. Naturally, I died and lost all my cash in the process. Geez, even Dragon Warrior wasn't THAT harsh in terms of death penalties.

Still haven't found Rico, and I'm assuming I'm supposed to do other missions from the Guild before I can drop that dragon.

New missions in Co-op (GLaDOS even says she's not done with Atlas and P-Body yet) as well as new challenge modes with leaderboards.

Guess it's a good thing I never bothered to uninstall it, then. Looks like I'll get a chance to use those Summer Event goo-goggles after all.

When I near the end of a game, I focus only on it and put all other's on hold. I've reached that point with Castlevania Portrait of Ruin. Epic Mickey can wait another week.

Castlevania:portrait of Ruin
Pretty sure I've explored all of Dracula's castle at this point (by which I mean covered the map space, not the hidden zones). Looked up an FAQ to find the cream pie and wondering how the hell you would have known 1) that sliding can break blocks and 2) to slide in that exact spot. :-?
Anyway, fought the sisters and freed them with the Sanctuary spell. Then took on the Vampire Killer Whip's former master memory and unlocked the true potential of the whip... which was less powerful than the sword I was already using. :-x
4 paintings to go to reach Brauner. 1 down already.

Not sure if anyone's even remotely interested, but the beta of that lackluster-looking forced tie-in "Gotham City Imposters" game started tonight, I think. I'm keeping my hopes way, way low and I don't even know why I signed up for that crap.

It's not often I let a comic speak my opinions for me, much less a comic that I didn't make. But uopn looking at it, it perfectly mirrors my early experiences with the game.

Beat the first boss. (That thingy in the comic, though he looked like a normal, if incredible fat person when I fought him. Also he had an oversized cigar)

Final Fantasy IX:
Alexandria got curb-stomped by Bahamut, Bahamut got curb-stomped by Alexander, Alexander got curb-stomped by the Invincible. Now we're hunting down Kuja, the man(?) responsible for it all.

Mass Effect 2:
Got the Geth Pulse Rifle by completing Tali's recruitment mission on hardcore difficulty. I now have two things: A sweet-ass new weapons, and the knowledge that I am never, ever playing hardcore difficulty again.

Transformers The Game:

Yesterday I Went to the Shop and found Transformers The Game and Revenge Of The Fallen Game for a good price, i thought i should buy them and give them a try. I Opened Transformers The Game first, putted the DVD/CD or whatever into the Computer and installed the Game, I will install ROTF game after finishing Transformers the game.

I Started playing it with the Autobots since i think it will be a bit easier to play with them and after knowing the game i will try the :CON: .

Playing with Bumblebee and destroying the Decpticons with some melee attack was fun. I completed the first mission easily, killing cons was super easy, but the next mission was Challenging, which involves catching cons before they get to a car lot. The first two cons were east to stop while in Alt Mode but after finishing two Decpticons three other cons appeared, i tried to catch them but they beat me #-o .

I At Last one the second mission after losing two times. The Next Mission was pretty easy, the first Autobot boss battle, kill Barricade. Well...he was finished easily, poor Barricade.

Now time for playing with some :CON: . I Played as Blackout in the first mission, it was hard controlling Blackout's Helicopter alt mode, so i stick-ed with the robot mode, the first mission was about destroying a base in Iraq/Iran, i am not sure what is the country, i just destroyed the whole base and finished the mission easily, the next mission i will be playing as....SCORPNOK! it was really fun diving in the sand with scorpion then come out from under the humans feet and destroy everything, the mission i played as Scorpnok was pretty easy like the one before it.

I also fought Shannon, a succubus who is less concerned with fulfilling the evil plans of the Devas and instead fulfilling--well, trying to keep it PG-13, but she's trying to fill something all right. (Hint: Succubus) Also Azel, the jerk with the other God Hand, or, as he chooses to call it, Devil Hand. I fought a luchadore Gorilla, a group of Midget Power Rangers, a rock band, some kind of mad scientist robot, and a group of thugs who cut off the main character's arm, which is why he's got the God Hand now. (Smokin' hot crazy chick gave it to him)

Crossed the 100 hour mark after my last save; pretty sure the game is almost over. Right now I'm getting ready to head to the floating Isle of Neos for what I would assume is the final battle, but who knows.

Driver: San Francisco [XBox]
Just learned that Jericho can somehow use the "shift" ability as well. So my objective now is to get to safety while dodging the cars that he's hurling at me head on

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow [Xbox]

Playing through from the start with all of the items I collected throughout the game. My goal is to complete all the trials and find any items I couldn't previously get.

Yeah. Damn shame too, because it's like Psychonauts, it's a game everyone needs to play, but no one has played. Unlike Psychonauts, God Hand is only on one platform. Well, technically two now that you can get it off of PSN.

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

Nothing new to really report on my climb up Star Hill. I did forget to mention I got halted by a General Shroob and his army, and a secret weapon: a big Shroob-omb. Nothing I couldn't handle of course ;)

Anyhow, I'm starting to hate those eyes popping up everywhere in the Mushroom World. The door to the Star Shrine is alive! Of course, I'd be allowed to pass, but there's a hickup. And his name's Luigi, crybaby that he is. He had to prove himself by finding the Aurora Block, and he did so with the help of the rest of the gang.
The Star Shrine was... a bit of a hassle, with the enemies taking a while to beat. Was I just not leveled enough, at level 22? Yes, I found another Cobalt Star Shard. Then, I got an unsuspected visit from Kylie and Toadbert, by boogity (they flew Lakitu Air)! Toadbert had regained his memory from Kylie's fall on top of him, and showed the fifth shard. Two in one, go how about that? But he ran away when I showed him what I had already collected. What the...
I found him and Kylie again at the end of the Star Shrine, badly beaten. He told me to rub away from the sketch he drew earlier, which showed... another Princess Shroob? Didn't have time to ponder, as I was attacked by the boss, an Elder Shrooboid. Fun battle, with him fainting most of the time when I countered an impossible? attack. The second part was even easier, despite the countdown. That proved manhandling certain machines can help you. :P
In the end, boss beaten, but Toadbert and Kylie Shroobified. Dang. But no time to waste, Shroob Castle is in sight!
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Playing through Borderlands, in the middle of a playthrough with a siren. Level 33, just smoked Old Haven (There's a reason I waited- my electric revolver and my orange corrosive shotgun pretty much cleaned house) Can't play this weekend, but heading out to the Salt Flats and heading into one of the harder parts of the game (damn Atlas troops...)

The 4 paintings are history and so is Brauner. Too bad taking care of one problem woke up an even bigger one. :BANG_HEAD: D'OH!
Before taking on the big baddie, putting some time into quests so I can unlock some goodies. There are quests that are simply unsolvable at this point since I sold necessary items before realizing they were needed, but at least I can get what I want, I hope.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

Diggin' the new avatar, Shadow.

Portal 2 [PC]:
Started the Peer Review process with a friend. Got to #5, I think. Got the Achievement for dropping a friend into the drink when they're doing a gesture.

Oh yeah, strange change. Or at least something I never noticed before. When you do the gesture that makes your character go into a spastic spin and then shoot a portal, it ACTUALLY shoots a portal now. So don't do the gesture when you're in a chamber and you, ya know, NEED your portals open. We found this out the hard way.

PSO Plus [Gamecube]:
So it seems they intend for you to take the mission "Battle Training" from the Guild before going planetside for the first time. This game does a terrible job at making stuff like that clear, and the targeting/camera/movement systems are all tied together, which makes gameplay suck harder than it should.

Took the Battle Training mission, went to the Forest, killed stuff while backed up by the high-Level NPC. I just hope I can keep him with me when I face that dragon boss.

Unreal Tournament 3 [PC]:
Need the hard drive space, so I'll be uninstalling this one soon. Figured I'd clear up some Achievements first. Score 10 new ones recently and still have a bunch of relatively-easy ones to get (weapon proficiency, monster kills, ending sprees).

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess ['Cube]:
The art style is starting to bug me. Sure, it's not as needlessly different as Wind Waker's and isn't obvious most of the time, but character's faces just look off. And story-wise, I'm starting to lose interest.

So some prepubescent bitch takes away Link's horse, effectively allowing their village to look like crap since they won't able to bring their tribute to Hyrule Castle in time, but then the freakin' Anti-Spirals from Gurren Lagann mess up the sky and Link gets turned into a werewolf? Huh, that explains the "Twilight" part.

I loathe Midna already. Sure, she gets intensely fappable at the end, but so far, she's a stuck-up jerk whose voice is irritating (I think I heard the phrase "something you need?" but the rest is gibberish), her character design plays into that oddly-proportioned art style I'm not fond of, and they try too hard to sexualize her. I'm sure there are weeaboos who'd love a piece of that, but really, I don't want gratuitous ass shots of her just yet.

Oh, and Hyrule's smegged and it's raining black pixels.
