Skyrim
Partook in a drinking contest, woke up halfway across the continent...
Well, this place is cool, and right around the corner from the place were you find Red Eagle's Sword, wich is a quest item. I got it entirely by accident too. But the quest was completed anyway.
I boosted my smithing almost up to 40. leveling up your smithing is so easy it should be a crime, but me and my full set of Dwarven Armor arent complaining.
I am now officially inducted into the ranks of the companions (I think) I got a fragment of some sword, saw farkas turn into a werewolf, that whole ordeal. Do I ever get to have that ability? That would be kickass!
Learned alot from the college in winterhold, went on a couple missions for them too.
All and all though, Im going pretty steady with this game. Not having to many problems, exept frame rate issues...
Oh god the framerate issues...
Also, it seems like EVERY time I head up the river to the lake from riverwood, I run into ANOTHER dragon. It never fails. this is like the third time. Glitch? spawning area?
I usually lead the dragons back to town so the gaurds help me kill them, but now every time I go to riverwood, there are giant skelletons everywere! Cant they dissapear or dissolve or something?

It's a trip, isn't it?

Saints Row III
My missions still consist of the usual mini-games (total padding) so I'm spending most my time just running the side missions. Finished all trail-blazing, own probably 80% of the properties. Knocking out tons of gang operations and generally getting into trouble with the law. On the bright side, I can now phone in helicopters, tanks, and a Russian brute.

One of my favorite quests in the game.

Markarth is pretty sweet. Damn shame the people are one Mr. Freeze short of Arkham Asylum.

Used to be easier. They patched it so level gain is equal to the value of the created item. but yeah, it's all worthwhile. Daedric armor, though, should be your ultimate goal. Looks totally sick, the highest armor rating in the game (Moreso if Heavy Armor is your thing) the best damage rating amongst weapons, and looks totally sick.
Yeah, I count that twice.

Yep! Do a few more Companions missions and you, too, can be a Werewolf. Gives you total immunity to disease, as well, that's why I got it to begin with.

That's why I went with the console versions, I want to experience the game without making my PC suffer.

It'll happen. Dawnstar and Falkreath, I think, have it the worst. Dragon corpses are supposed to despawn after a while. Are you looting them? (Especially since Dragon Bones and Scales can fetch a huge price from the right buyer)

Oh yeah, Iv'e got dragon scales and bones out the wazoo, I wanted to craft them into Dragon Armor, but you make it sound like that's not the best idea? If not, I'm sitting on a lot of gold!
Iv'e recently encountered a HUGE problem in the game though. In the mission were you need to hide out in the thalmor embassy during a party, (the one with the drunk dude) And after I go down and find my gear, and run all the way up to the point were i need to escape out the main gate through the embassy, it freezes on the way in to the embassy however, and restarts my system. EVERY. TIME.
This game has been buggy, but nothing THIS bad. I cant proceed with the main story now. I hope I can get around this bug, if not, i'm royally screwed.

Dragonscale Armor has the highest armor rating for Light Armor, but Dragonplate Armor is only the second best heavy Armor, second of course to Daedric Armor. There are also no weapon options for Dragon-based forging, which sucks because a Dragon-bone sword would be totally awesome.

You're not supposed to go out the front. There's a back exit in the dungeons you're supposed to take.

Well how was I supposed to know? It doesnt tell you! and when wizards are sending frost atronarcs and lightning bolts and fireballs at you all at once in such a small area, things get frisky!
Anyway, Daedric armor huh? Ill make one. but I'm also trying to do all the light armors as well. Glass armor is what im trying to work on right now. This stuff is expensive to make, but wow, it looks so good! If there is any redeeming quality about light armor, aside the fact that its light, is that 9 times out of 10, it looks alot better to boot.
I killed a blood dragon yesterday. The damn things are nearly impossible to kill unless you can get it to land, or fall. Once it lands, its all hack and slash. But when they are in the air, they clearly have the advantage...
Also, I spotted that big black spiny dragon, flying around in circles. I thought it was just a normal dragon from a distance. Nope, he resurected a dragon and sent the damn thing after me. I killed it, making two dragons in one day.
I thought it was cool that that could happen outside of quests though!
Im going to try that emassy mission again tonight, that is, if Bayonetta doesnt arrive...

You'll get a shout during the main story, called Dragonrend. It causes a Dragon to immediately land when hit with it. it is exactly as useful as it sounds.
And yeah, Blood Dragons are a pain when you first meet them. And it's still the second-weakest tier of Dragons.
BeastProwl wrote:Also, I spotted that big black spiny dragon, flying around in circles.
His name is Alduin. He's a jackass.

Yeah, he'll do that, at least until you hit a certain part of the main story. There's a map in Delphine's hideout that lists all the burial sites he'll visit, I think.
Pokemon Black:
Got to the Elite Four, beat them, got to the Champion and...oh, there's the main antagonist, N, and he just steamrolled the Champion, Alder. Caught Reshiram, beat N, beat Ghetsis, the real main antagonist, and saved the day.
Now I'm visiting a bunch of new towns, including Undella Town, where visiting a certain house will lead to you getting ambushed by the Goddess of Death and Sex, Cynthia. I managed to beat her Spiritomb, and i gain confidence. Then she brought out her Milotic, and I was reminded I was fighting Cynthia.
Cynthia kicked my ass. How expected.

If you're a light armor specialist, Daedric armor's still available. You'll find a place later where you can offer random items and get a set price in return. but that's only if you're not already smithing heavy armor at the daedric level.
And yeah, Glass Armor was my favorite aesthetically, even moreso than dragonscale.

Nightingale Armor is slightly weaker than Glass (by only a couple of points) but damn if it doesn't look the coolest out of any armor.

Skyrim
So I whent to riften to get this "Strange Jewel" appraised, and the guy I was supposed to talk to told my to piss off. Swell guy.
Anyway, I found a lady there who said she had lost her blade in a dwemer ruin. I couldnt help but to jump at the chance to go. I mean, Ive seen all those robots in the loading screens, and I even found a ruin that was locked from the other side once, a glitch let me see the legs of the dwarven spiders lunging at me from the other side of the door, but I couldnt get in. This was a chance to actually go and explore one, so why not?
I whent inside after fighting off a couple bandits, only to find dead bandits and dead robots. I ran into a few more bandits, then the fun started. Frikkin dwarven spiders shooting lightning, and midevil destroyer droids! I was able to hold my own against them. That is, until the end.
That thing was MASSIVE. I thought giants and dragons were imposing. I think it was called a Dwemer Centurion? I didnt catch the name, but I remember it from the loading screens. all I can say for sure is that it was a steam spewing juggernaught. I know when its time to run, and this was the time to run! I got out, with her sword and everything. But I have that place memorized, so one day, I can go back for round two with that collosal mechanical beast.
I know I may be coming off a bit overly excited here, but this is the first time anything in this game has surprized me this much! That thing was monstrous! I guess its just the fact that something can crush you SO easily, and you know that one day, you'll be strong enough to make mince meat out of it.

Bayonetta
Were do I begin?
So, apparently there once were 2 clans, the umbra witches, and the Lumen Sages, who both respected and feared one another. The elders of each clan would meet up and negotiate during the solar eclipse, since the witches drew power from the moon, the lumens from the sun, and so on.
I dont know the details, but Bayonetta is "A Child Of Inpure Blood" wich only leads me to believe that shes a child born form parents on both sides, wich in hindsight should give her lunar AND solar powers. At some point she's put to sleep in a coffin at the bottom of a lake, only to later be awoken by someone who wants her to "Awaken the eyes of the world"
Since Ive awoken, Ive slayed several beasts, from your garden variety angel, to a massive two-headed Dragon with a massive upside-down face in the middle. After killing him, I learned that he was a sacrifice for Jubileus' return.
All this while trying to piece together my broken past, and trying to re-unite "The eyes of the world"
And as if ALL THAT wasnt hard enough to follow, this Jeanne bitch just wont get off my ass! She's like that blonde chick from Trish, but with a bigger gun complex!
Seriously though, watching the cutscene were these two fight is a pure delight. You havnt seen it all until youve watched two girls handstand and do the splits while simultaneously firing bullets at eachother from automatic pistols attached to their feet all while flying at 100 mph on a chunk of a statue. *GASP* and that aint even the half of it! There is so much more!
And then there's Ronin, the coolest demon. EVER. No question, best character in game so far.
There are also references to Clover Games (What platinum games used to be) Like, for instance, you caan unlock Pillow talk as a weapon/item, and when she rode an angel through lava, I could have swore she said something along the lines of "Henshin ago-go baby!" but I didnt quite catch the whole thing. Even the clumsy way Luca acts and the way he acts around some chick in one scene reminded me of Gene, but thats grasping at straws, i think.
Now with all that, I cant wait to see what happens next! This is my kinda game! Ima play the hell out of it! I needed a break from skyrim anyway.

I have to get Skyrim. From what I hear, there's pretty much no end which is awesome. A huge ass map and ALOT to do. I think that'll be my next game after FoC. But the game I'm going through now is Mass Effect 2 (again). I'm trying to get the platinum trophy and all I have left is 3 trophies to get that platinum. I have to go through the waves of enemies on the Arrival DLC, end the game with everybody still alive and beat it on Insane. Or at leaste that's what I think it's called. I'm doing every mission to get my guy up to level 30 again because my brother some how deleted my character and beat it on easy just to get them waves of enemies done. I played it normal and still failed.

Skyrim COULD be endless, if they kept pumping out dlc like dawngaurd, but I dont think they will. Afer a while, your system wouldnt be able to handle it.

Oblivion and Morrowind only had two major expansions each (Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles for Oblivion, Bloodmoon and Tribunal for Morrowind) so chances are Skyrim will see one more big DLC.
DC Universe Online:
Working on getting my sexy sexy main to CR53, so I can go to Central City and get all kinds of cool new stuff. Did some Alerts and Duos with a friend of mine, (An outdated screenshot, both he and I are level 30, obviously) including fighting Ra's al Ghul (Oddly enough, kind of a pushover) going back in time to ensure Barry Allen becomes the Flash, (Abra Kadabra is the fruitiest villain ever) and visiting Smallville, to put a stop to a Doomsday/Zombie hybrid apocalypse. (Including both becoming Doomsday, which was awesome! And also fighting Doomsday, which makes you feel awesome after beating him, since, come on, it's Doomsday)

I might start playing dcuo again. My green lantern character is level 30 and I haven't really done them missions after you turn lvl 30. The things I'm missing out on...

I'm guessing you're playing on PS3? If you were on PC I could actually help you out. I know where all the cool gear is.
DC Universe Online:
Did the Oan Sciencells, and got a new pair of hand blasters, finally getting me to CR53. Headed out to Central City, (MUCH smaller than Gotham and Metropolis) and did some missions there. Picked up the Wanted missions, too.

Pushing forward on the story. now 100% in control of all districts in the city and completed all assassinations. Ran some missions against the Deckers where I steal a supercomputer, a very nice recliner, and took the nuclear plant as a stronghold. Entered the virtual world took down the Dekker's boss. After this, he politely bowed out of the gang business and resigned from the syndicate.
On the larger picture side, captured Nyte Blade to make the syndicate look bad.

Way to many details to go into, the point is I beat it, and am now convinced she could hold her own against Kratos, any day of the week.
Skyrim
Among other things I did in Skyrim last night, the highlight of it all was Lycanthropy. f*cking awesome. Becoming a werewolf has gotten me out of a few tight spots. And watching bandits run away in terror while all the while you know their inevitable fate is to be slaughtered and eaten, well, call me sick, but I love it. It's like playing as Venom in Ultimate Spiderman.

if you heard of some of the things bandits tend to do in the Elder Scrolls (Sapphire in Riften has an...enlightening story on the subject) you won't feel so bad about it.
DC Universe Online:
Did the STAR Labs T2 Alert, teaming up with both the Green Lanterns and the Sinestro Corps, to prevent Brainiac from building his own Lantern. The idea of a Brainiac Lantern Corps is kind of, what's the word, oh, right, pants crappingly horrifying. Unfortunately we never finished it because a later-stage boss is nearly impossible. (The area constantly saps your health, meaning if a teammate goes down, you can't help them due to the way damage effects rallying) We didn't get a healer, and our team disbanded before one could join.
Then we tried to Coast City Alert, fighting against the Green Lanterns and Sinestro Corps, both of whom are being manipulated by the Red Lantern Corps. That went about as well, mostly due to poor coordination.
I did get a team together to do a bunch of the Central City missions, so that worked out at least.

I have to get back in there. I'm redownloading the game right now.

You have to team up with Hal, Sinestro, Kilowog, and Arkillo. Unfortunately, not at the same time. The Brainiac Lantern powers look pretty cool; they're the same as the Green and Yellow Lantern powers the players can use, but gold and purple, with a digitized look to them.
It's a T2 Alert, with a minimum CR of 43, I think, which can be obtained in an afternoon if you know the right spots, assuming you're already level 30. (Protip: join a sub-avatar hunting party, which are always forming up in Gotham) And it might require the Fight for the Light DLC.

I have the green lantern and flash dlc. With a lvl 30 green lantern character. I honestly think they have a red tornado dlc but I can't think of any moves from that besides just making tornado. I've done that alert with cadmus labs with t.o. morrow but that didn't show of a lot they can make with the red tornado. I just love RT a lot.

The only DLC packs are Fight for the Light (Lantern powers and GL-based alerts) Lightning Strikes (Electric powers, Coast City and a Flash-based alert) Battle for Earth (Earth powers, and basically a conclusion to the Brainiac Invasion story) and The Last Laugh (Shield weapon, and new PvP missions). Earth might be what you're thinking of, there's a really cool power in that tree that lets you make a series of tornadoes.
