Honestly, I'm kind of undecided on whether to buy Darkmount or not. While I like his design, I generally stay away from "toyish-looking" toys (ironic, I know) and opt for more realistic designs. Darkmount's light blue color-scheme really puts me off, but I really like him for his superb articulation and alt modes.

Decisions, decisions....

It is weird, but I just don't like this figure much at all. (To me) it almost seems like a strange mix of the Classics line and the Animated line, although I am sure it is not at all intended to be that way. It is a nifty figure in a lot of ways, but it isn't for me.

Wow, that's a really early release! Still no news on my local hobby shop on either Megs or Darkmount. I'm hoping to catch Megs, Soundwave and Red Alert in Wave 3 when they finally arrive.

I believe he said he was from Malaysia. It's not out in the US, Canada, etc., yet.

The back kibble is a bit obvious, but the head sculpt, gigantic battle axe, and overall solid update of a more obscure character make this an easy buy at the deluxe price.

I really like this and cant wait for him to hit the shelves in my area, but im wondering something, i wonder if Takara will work their magic on this guy too? it would be nice to see him in a much darker blue with a chrome tipped pick axe!
