Stopped by Tuesday Mornings today and found rts Tracks, Wreckgar & Legends OP,Megatron & Gold Bumblebee , plus HA Whirl. All at like half off or more. Cashed in at just under $30! You can't beat that.

BTW, the HA Whirl is a Canadian version. The back of the packaging is the multi-lingual version. Kinda strange.

This is a couple weeks ago in Redwood CIty, Ca where I was visiting.

I found a few Reveal the shield deluxes like G2 Prime, Tracks, Perceptor.
I ended up getting Wreckgar and Autobot Jazz for $8 each i think.

THe place down there is a discount gorcery store near main and broadway, a couple blocks down broadway in downtown Redwood CIty.

If you live in the area they might still be available or in other discount grocery stores in CA or whoever is distributing them.

Still no RID figures except for some legends at Walmart.

There was two RTS Minsets that were stiiting there at my local Walmart, marked down at 10$ for at least 2 weeks now.

I already have Hailstorm so I never bothered.

Still, Mindset was there, begging to hav a owner.
I finaly gave in and bought him. Sure, Hailstorm have the superior paintjob but Minset have that unique charm of his. Plus a new head. It's also an excellent mold.

Minset is part of the Reveal the Sheild line, where the gimmick is to reveal the bot alegeance by rubbing his rubsign. I read his bio thinking "he seem like a nice guy for a Decepticon". Then I rub his sign to discover he's actually an Autobot! That's the first time such a reveal was unexpected.

Mindset look good next to his brother, Hailstorm. No regret to purchase him. No regrets at all.

Mindset also matches well with HftD Seapsray. He fits right in the back in alt mode and increases Seaspray's firepower by two big ass missile batteries. By the time Seaspray "comes screaming out of the surf", the beach will ALREADY be a "blasted wasteland with nowhere to hide". :grin:

Oh, that's good to know. Usually, I use Breacher but I'll try it out with Mindset for sure!
Yeah, that's a combo that is completely out of scale, but since when scale really matter in Transformers?

Found and bought a RtS Bumblebee at a Ross store in San Mateo, CA. Never thought I was going to get one considering I own a Classics 'Bee, but it did complete me RtS collection. No other Transformers other than some DotM Legion class figs. Check your stores, there may be some hidden gems left!!

What figures, outside the actual Classics and Generations lines, are considered "Classics" by most collectors? Alot of RTS seems to be, but alot of those are repaints.

Classics 2006, Universe 2008, Generations, and non-movie mold RtS, and even that's debatable with Fallback. 2010 Sea Spray also skirts the edge, due to a Hasbro statement saying he was meant as an update of G1 Sea Spray, but had nowhere else to put him but the "movie-centric" 2010 line. Coupled with the fact 2010 molds will be used for BotCon 2012 (plus RotF Buldgeon of all things) things get really iffy.
