I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! Hasbro must be listening to fans, otherwise i dont see them releasing Dirge at all. Anyway, I'm glad he is coming out along with Thrust and all i need is Tcracker for my Seeker collection will be complete!!
Unless, a Sunstorm figure is coming out! (praying here)

With all this Generation goodness coming out, it's time to sell some Transformers: The movie and ROTF figures and make room for Generations line!!!

Why?

That did not really happen with Classics Ratchet and BotCon Ratchet. BC Ratchet dropped in price a bit, but he's still a $350 figure.

It's been long since past that the everyman collector was taken out of the market for the 2007 set of BC toys. Those prices are collector/completionist fueled entirely at this point.

Though to be fair, Dirge has always been the black sheep of this particular set.

I believe the Commanders are Scout-sized, the Drones Legends-size, while combined they stand as tall as a Voyager figure.

Well, this was my point in the first post. The value of the GoD will not go down, bc it is still GoD, a botcon exclusive. But I think the henkei will suffer some. At least from my perspective, I won't even look at another henkei Dirge if a 10 dollar Hasbro release is in the near future.

I agree with this. I purchased the Botcon set, and while I will admit I was initially upset by the Takara releases I do acknowledge that I got to enjoy these figures for years before others which still makes them worth the the $279.00 I paid for the Iacon set. It will however reduce to value of the Botcon figures and the Henkei figures for that matter. They didn't skyrocket in price because they were Botcon exclusives, they skyrocketed because they were Classics representations of characters fans wanted. Anytime a new cheaper alternative comes along it can't help but reduce the demand and thus the value of those who came before them. If I didn't already have these figures and I was in the market for them I wouldn't pay a higher price just to get the Botcon version, in fact I wouldn't give two sh*ts about the Botcon versions at this point. I do plan on getting Generations Dirge for the remolded wings even though I already have Botcon Dirge. Actually Botcon Dirge will probably go into storage now.

There's my first post with his argument. I was stating they IMO, sentimental value tops retail regardles..

Thanks for answering. I just had a quick look on ebay, and yeah, one seller is saying Huffer is about 11cm. So much for my hopes that they might be about the same size as the Energon combiners!

Does mean that Huffer will work quite well in the Classics-verse though.

I wasn't one to jump on any bashing of TC for GoD at all. However, considering how much I paid for Henkei TC, and his problems, I would be very happy to get a Generations TC.

To anyone, if you have a way I can fix Henkei TC's arm problem (arm gun won't stay in) let me know.

I hear you... I was just at Wal*Mart getting a fishing license and decided to check the TF aisles. All they had for Deluxe was 16 Tuner Mudflaps and 2 Gears, Voyager was a massive swarm of Long Haul, They had 0 leaders (which was fine by me because all they ever have is Prime.), 1 Blowpipe vs Sideways, and a couple Scouts (Ejector and Scalpel to be exact).

Besides the nail polish trick?

You can use a single sheet of toilet paper. Rip a lil bit off and use that in your peg hole. I've done that one a few items that have been loose.
